Initially, Berry suggested that Martinez was postponing their joint parenting counseling sessions to enjoy a “summer break” – however, as revealed by court documents accessed by Radar Online, the judge refused her petition, stating there were no urgent reasons for the delay.
The duo had planned to go for therapy in May to tackle and reconcile their disagreements and conflicts as a means to effectively coparent their son, but according to court documents acquired by TMZ, Berry alleges that her ex postponed the sessions until September, choosing to take a ‘summer break’ without first consulting her or the therapist.
She asserts that he missed the July meetings because he was traveling back to his homeland, France, and intends to skip the August gatherings since his brother is expected to visit.
The actress requested that a judge make him follow the timetable outlined in the contract. Moreover, she pointed out since therapy sessions take place on Zoom, there’s no room for Martinez to claim he can’t attend due to travel reasons.
The star said the six joint sessions were due to be completed by June 14.

His attorney stated that Maceo was not in any imminent danger, and further claimed that Berry chose to submit the petition when she was aware that Martinez was planning to travel – a situation which did not meet the criteria for an emergency order.
