Rylan Clark gets temporarily banned from Instagram for sending an unintentionally naughty snap
As an avid fan of Rylan Clark, I can’t help but be completely amused by his latest mishap with Instagram! Here’s someone who knows how to turn a simple mistake into a hilarious moment for all of us. I mean, sending an inappropriate picture of a plant that looks like a Willy and getting banned from the platform for three whole days? Classic Rylan!
Rylan admitted that he was briefly suspended from using Instagram due to an accidentally suggestive photo he had shared.
On Saturday night, as the TV personality, aged 35, marked his mother Linda’s birthday with festivities, he received an unexpected disappointment from a social media platform.
I once had an amusing experience with a charismatic figure in my social circle. He was known for his colorful language and playful sense of humor, which often left us all in stitches. One day, he took to his social media platform to share an update with his followers. With a mischievous twinkle in his eye, he wrote: “Alright folks, any of you messaging me, I’ve got some news – I’m not trying to be rude here, but I’ve been given a three-day ban for sending a picture of a plant that looks an awful lot like a certain male body part. Back Wednesday!”
After that, he shared a snapshot on his stories featuring a message that read “Temporarily Unavailable.” The explanation behind this was: An message you transmitted through chat violated our Community Guidelines. Consequently, you are restricted from sending messages for the next three days.
Supporters and recognized personalities such as Scott Mills and Faye from Steps couldn’t suppress their amusement, chuckling it out with laughter: “Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha” and “Ba-ha-ha-ha”.
Lizzie Cundy playfully warned herself, “I’d better be cautious here… I think I’ve crossed the line with Jedward…” Jedward replied casually, posting “Scandal” and a plant symbol.
In the earlier part of the evening, Rylan enjoyed celebrations with his mother and brother Jamie. Later, he surprised Linda with a large chocolate cake adorned with sparklers.
During the evenings when he shared posts (before being suspended), the family enjoyed harmonizing to a homemade karaoke system. Linda reveled in her role as lead singer, belting out tunes with enthusiasm and gusto.
At some point, Rylan expressed his desire to retire for the night as he had already hosted his BBC Radio 2 show early in the morning. However, the party continued unabated.
It comes after Rylan dished out his own surprises to British Airways customer earlier in the month.
The presenter made a tannoy announcement during a flight to Berlin ahead of the 2024 Euros final.
At the forefront of the aircraft, he addressed everyone present, wishing them a “safe and successful” journey and reminding them to keep hold of their passports.
Via the public address system, Rylan made a light-hearted comment: “Tonight, if you spot me purchasing Peroni with a new blond wig on, just give it some time, we’ll adjust.”

Despite Rylan’s encouraging words the Three Lions failed to bring home the cup on Sunday.
