Zoe Ball, 55, shows off her trim figure in a black swimsuit as she unwinds on family trip to Jamaica with children Woody, 25, and Nelly, 16

Zoe Ball spent some time relaxing in Jamaica, enjoying the winter sunshine with her family and friends. This comes as rumors circulate that she’s a possible candidate to host the next season of Strictly Come Dancing, potentially alongside another new presenter.

The TV and radio host looked fit and relaxed while vacationing in the Caribbean with her two children, 25-year-old Woody and 16-year-old Nelly. She was seen wearing a black swimsuit on a boat trip with them; her children’s father is DJ Norman Cook, also known as Fatboy Slim.

Fifty-five-year-old Ball and her family were enjoying a luxurious vacation at the GoldenEye resort in Jamaica, once the home of James Bond author Ian Fleming.

The presenter shared a video on Instagram Sunday showing her, her two children, and her son Woody’s girlfriend, Ruby, enjoying a vacation. The clips featured them having fun on a yacht, exploring waterfalls, and dining outdoors on the beach.

Honestly, some of my happiest moments are the simple ones. I recently shared a glimpse of my perfect day: hanging out with my chickens, listening to music, maybe doing a little dance, soaking up the sunshine, and enjoying some delicious jerk chicken with a bit of rum. It’s all about those little pockets of paradise!

Okay, so I’m totally stalking this presenter on social media, and it looks like she’s on vacation! But the BEST part? Everyone’s saying she’s a frontrunner to replace Tess and Claudia on Strictly! Can you believe it?! After years of those two being amazing, someone new is possibly taking over, and it might be HER! I’m seriously glued to any news about this – please let it be true!

Several well-known personalities are being considered for a popular television role, and it’s down to either Alex Ball or Emma Willis to fill the last remaining position.

Willis, age 49, recently took over from Ball on BBC Radio 2 after Ball left the afternoon show following only seven months.

I’m so excited to hear that Alex Jones is potentially leaving ‘The One Show’! And even better, Tess Daly has confirmed she’d absolutely love to host, which makes total sense – she was brilliant on ‘It Takes Two’ until 2021, and I always thought she’d be perfect for a role like this. I’d be thrilled to see her back on our screens in this way!

According to a source, the final decision for the role is down to Zoe and Emma. It appears only one of them will be chosen.

The company’s leaders are looking for a pairing of presenters: a conventional speaker and a more unconventional one – specifically, a female stand-up comedian.

People believe the funny and unique style Claudia brought to the show, especially through her segment called “Claudatorium”, should continue to be a part of it.

Ball recently confessed she would love to take on the most sought-after job in British TV.

Honestly, everyone started buzzing when I heard the radio presenter was leaving her Saturday show. It felt like a huge hint she was going for that big TV role – suddenly her weekends were free, and it just seemed too perfect a fit. I’ve been following her career for years, and I knew she was destined for great things, but this felt like the next logical step!

Okay, so I’ve been following this so closely, and finally, Lucy Ball herself has spoken out! Apparently, she hasn’t actually been asked yet, but she totally said she’d love to do it! I’m practically screaming – this is amazing! I’ve been hoping for this forever, and to hear her say she’s interested? I’m losing it!

Honestly, a part of me really wants to go back – I absolutely adore that show! Performing with Ian Waite was such a highlight; he’s one of my closest friends, and the whole experience is just pure joy. It’s something I’d always cherish.

She admitted replacing Daly and Winkleman would be incredibly difficult, emphasizing that live television is much more challenging than people realize.

‘That show is a beast. Whoever gets to do it has a tough act to follow.’
