The game “Lighter” has been confirmed for release in “Zenless Zone Zero”. Here’s what we currently understand about the boxing title.
The game developer MiHoYo has announced the new character named Lighter for Zenless Zone Zero, set to be the third character released. Lighter is a Fire Attribute character who specializes in causing Stun effects and belongs to the Sons of Calydon faction. The introduction of Lighter could signify a notable event in the game’s roster, as he may become the first limited male character with an S-Rank rarity.

Among the five members of the Sons of Calydon group, Lighter often travels with his motorcycle posse, a team that includes prominent figures such as Piper Wheel, Lucy, and Caesar King. Soon, Burnice White is set to join their ranks.
Based on the newly disclosed Agent Files, Lighter radiated an irresistible self-assurance and referred to himself as the “invincible victor.” This self-proclaimed title may stem from his exceptional skills in the thrilling Outer Ring race, Tour de Inferno, which also happens to be the title of the next chapter in ZZZ’s primary narrative.
Among Lighter’s unique traits is his unconventional fighting method, which involves relying solely on his physical prowess instead of typical weapons found elsewhere. This makes him a captivating character among the inhabitants of Zenless Zone Zero, and players are particularly drawn to this charismatic biker.
A Shift in Ranks
It’s intriguing to note that at first, data mining revealed Lighter as an A-Rank character. Later on, during the development process, it was found that he had been upgraded to a higher tier, specifically the S-Rank, by miHoYo.
This change could signify a rising interest among players for male characters in gacha games, and by elevating Lighter to an S-Rank, miHoYo might be addressing the community’s input.
When is Lighter coming out in Zenless Zone Zero?
Enthusiasts can hardly wait for the arrival of Lighter in game ZZZ, slated for version 1.3 update of Zenless Zone Zero. Prior to Lighter’s introduction, developers miHoYo unveiled a new character, Tsukishiro Yanagi, belonging to Section 6.
