Zayn Malik reveals he has learnt to let go of ‘brash arrogance’ and admits he ‘isn’t always right’ amid rumours he ‘punched’ Louis Tomlinson during Netflix filming

Zayn Malik says he’s matured and learned to be more humble, realizing that he doesn’t always have all the answers.

The 33-year-old singer recently discussed how he deals with conflict in a new interview. This comes shortly after reports surfaced alleging he physically assaulted Louis Tomlinson, 34, during the filming of a Netflix documentary.

Zayn recently shared on the Zach Sang Show that learning to accept and love himself has made it easier to handle criticism and differing viewpoints, especially while promoting his latest album, Konnakol.

He described it as a way to feel love and acceptance for everyone – not just romantic partners, but also friends and people you interact with. It makes you more open-minded and willing to listen to and understand their perspectives.

It’s okay to disagree with others. People have different opinions, and that’s perfectly normal – we’re all individuals! Plus, it’s valuable to be able to admit when you’re wrong; you don’t need to be right all the time.

I can’t pinpoint exactly when it happened, but it’s been clear to me in the last few years. You always want to feel like you’re right, and I used to have a really strong, maybe overconfident, attitude about it.

As you age, at least for many people, that critical inner voice tends to quiet down and become less intense.

Zayn and Louis agreed to a multi-million pound contract to tour the US, sharing stories about their lives and reminiscing about their time in the band.

I’m absolutely heartbroken to hear this, but it seems like the show is off for good. Apparently, things got really heated between Zayn and Louis, and The Sun is reporting they actually came to blows. They say Zayn punched Louis, and Louis ended up with a concussion and needed to see a doctor. It’s just awful, and I can’t believe it’s come to this.

The pair have reportedly not spoken since the incident occurred six months ago.

Louis appeared to confirm his ‘feud’ with Zayn as he unfollowed his former One Direction bandmate.

After everything that came out about the alleged ‘punch,’ I noticed Louis unfollowed Zayn on Instagram. It’s a bit sad, honestly, because Zayn still follows Louis – he’s one of the only 17 people Zayn actually follows, which makes it seem even more one-sided now.

The Daily Mail reached out to Netflix, Campfire Studios, and spokespeople for both Zayn and Louis for a response.

Zayn recently shared some personal thoughts during an interview, discussing how becoming a father helped him shift his perspective and focus on the positive. He and Gigi Hadid co-parent their five-year-old daughter, Khai.

He described the moment he first held his daughter as incredible. He said it made all his previous worries and problems seem unimportant and insignificant.

I realized how precious life is. I made a conscious decision to focus on the positive and simply be happy for others, especially wanting to set a good example for this person.

Zayn is preparing for his biggest solo tour ever with 31 dates worldwide.

The singer is planning a major tour, performing in large venues throughout North and South America, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.

It’s a milestone step for Zayn, who cancelled previous live dates due to ‘extreme anxiety’.

Zayn’s tour begins on May 12th, 2026, at the AO Arena in Manchester. He’ll perform in Glasgow and Birmingham before finishing his European shows for the year at London’s The O2 on Saturday, May 23rd, just before the Spring Bank Holiday.

Zayn is planning performances in cities like Los Angeles, Mexico City, and São Paulo, with his final show on November 20th in Miami at the Kaseya Center.

Okay, so I nearly had a heart attack last week when I saw Zayn posted a picture from the hospital on Instagram! He just said he’s ‘still recovering,’ which is so vague and honestly, super worrying. I’ve been obsessively checking for updates ever since, and I just want him to get better soon! It’s killing me not knowing what’s wrong!

The singer will be performing a one-time-only show at Circuit in Kingston on April 13th at 9pm, featuring songs from his latest album, KONNAKOL.

I was so bummed to see the post on Banquet Records’ Instagram! They said the show had to be postponed because someone was unwell. It’s a real disappointment, but hopefully everyone gets better soon and we can see the show rescheduled.
