You have to see Matt Smith's insane mohawk on his new movie Caught Stealing

As a seasoned gamer of both movies and life, I must say that Matt Smith’s latest transformation into a punk-rock villain for “Caught Stealing” has me intrigued to the point of no return. The man is no stranger to reinventing himself on screen, from his tenure as the Doctor in “Doctor Who” to the regal Daemon Targaryen in “House of the Dragon.” But this mohawk, oh boy! It’s like he dipped his head into a bucket of paint and shook it up real good.

Straight up, here’s the deal: Matt Smith, famous for his roles as the Doctor on ‘Doctor Who’ and Daemon Targaryen on ‘House of the Dragon’, is shooting a new flick titled ‘Caught Stealing’. This crime drama follows a former baseball player who gets tangled in the web of underground crime during the 90s. Guess who’s playing the ballplayer? None other than Austin Butler, fresh from ‘Dune: Part II’ and ‘Elvis’. As for Matt, he’s not the baseball guy – no way! He’s rocking an eccentric character sporting a heavily embellished jacket, plaid trousers with chains, and a wild mohawk that seems like someone combined him with a dirty paintbrush in a rogue science project.

I won’t upload the picture here as it appears to be a paparazzi shot and I don’t want any legal troubles, but you can find it easily; Just Jared has plenty of them, and his mohawk extends quite far down the back of his head. It’s all fun up front and more fun at the back, while the sides are completely bald.

Recently, Smith has been making some intriguing acting decisions, particularly with his choice of hairstyles. On the show “House of the Dragon,” he sports a long, bleached-blonde wig. This experience seems to have sparked in him an appreciation for how different hairdos can influence one’s mental state.

For the film “Caught Stealing,” there hasn’t been a set release date just yet, but it seems like we might be seeing it premiere in 2025. Besides stars like Will Smith and Michael Cera, it also boasts an impressive cast including Zoë Kravitz, Liev Schreiber, Vincent D’Onofrio, and others. What really gets me pumped is that it’s directed by the talented Darren Aronofsky, known for masterpieces such as “Requiem for a Dream,” “The Wrestler,” “Black Swan,” “Noah” and most recently, “The Whale.” Add to that Matt Smith’s iconic mohawk, and I’m already reaching for my wallet to grab a ticket!
