You can now dress just like Figment for the holidays

As a lifelong Disney enthusiast who’s been on more Magic Kingdom adventures than I care to count, let me tell you, this Figment Holiday Sweater is a delightful addition to my collection! Growing up with Journey Into Imagination, the quirky little dragon has always held a special place in my heart. It’s like stumbling upon a long-lost friend at the park, and this sweater feels just like him!

Over time, Figment, the symbol of Imagination, has essentially taken on the role as the unofficial mascot for EPCOT. Disney often employs this small, purple dragon for significant events within the park, particularly during the Festival of the Arts, which stands out among these occasions.

Despite being perceived as out-of-date and not particularly impressive, Figment remains deeply cherished among Disney enthusiasts. In many ways, it has become something of a cult classic attraction, attracting a devoted, albeit smaller, following who would follow him to the farthest reaches of the world.

It seems that this Figment-inspired holiday sweater, now available at Walt Disney World for the 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, is designed with a specific audience in mind – those who love Disney’s magical world.

As a gamer, I can’t help but notice the striking resemblance between my latest holiday sweater and the one Figment sports in Journey Into Imagination. What really appeals to me is its understated charm – it’s not your typical over-the-top holiday knit. Some might label it an “ugly” Christmas sweater, but I beg to differ. In my book, there’s nothing unattractive about this one.

To put it simply, this quarter-zip sweater seems to follow a common holiday design. The Imagination! Pavilion logo is prominently displayed at its center, surrounded by a pattern of white snowflakes. Even though it resembles the one worn by the character, unless you’re familiar with the ride, it might not be immediately recognizable. I appreciate the subtlety of this design, and I particularly enjoy the white trim on the sleeves.

Regrettably, it has a rather high cost associated with it. The price is set at $74.99, which I personally find expensive, but typical for Disney sweaters. You can purchase it from the Creation Shop located within World Celebration at EPCOT.
