Taylor Sheridan, the creator of Yellowstone, is back with The Madison, a six-episode drama that’s being called his most personal project yet. The series tells a love story set in both Montana and New York City. Michelle Pfeiffer stars as Stacy Clyburn, the head of a family who moves from New York City to Montana after a difficult event.
You can watch The Madison on Paramount+ starting March 14th, with the first three episodes available then. The final three episodes will be released the following week, on March 21st.
Michelle Pfeiffer joins Kurt Russell in the film, playing Preston, Stacy’s husband. The trailer jumps between different points in time, showing their deep and loving relationship, but also suggesting something terrible happens to Stacy.
What to Read Next
“The Madison” is a moving story about family, overcoming challenges, and starting over. It follows Stacy as she moves to the Madison River valley in Montana, hoping for a fresh beginning.
So, I’m really excited about this new show, The Madison! It’s a spin-off of Yellowstone, and it’s created by the same guy, Taylor Sheridan, who’s also an executive producer. He’s working with John Pfeiffer and Russell, and Christina Alexandra Voros is directing – it’s a pretty solid team!

The film features Michelle Pfeiffer and Tim Russell alongside a talented cast including Matthew Fox (known from Lost), Patrick J. Adams (Suits), Beau Garrett (Firefly Lane), Danielle Vasinova (1923), Rebecca Spence (Lady in the Lake), and Ben Schnetzer (3 Body Problem). Rounding out the ensemble are Elle Chapman, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Kevin Zegers, and Will Arnett.
Previously, it was announced that The Madison exists in the same world as the Yellowstone universe. This includes the prequel series 1883 and 1923, as well as the upcoming sequel Marshals, scheduled to premiere on March 1st. More spin-offs are also being developed, including The Dutton Ranch, 1944, and 6666.

As a gamer, I’ve seen franchises build worlds, and that’s what’s happening with Yellowstone. Chris McCarthy, who runs things over at Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studio, explained that Yellowstone isn’t just a show, it’s the foundation for a whole bunch of other hits like 1883 and Tulsa King. It’s like the main game that spawned a ton of awesome spin-offs!
We’re sure the next season of Yellowstone will be a success, building on the amazing storytelling of Taylor Sheridan and the fantastic performances from our talented cast.
I’m so excited – I just heard The Madison is getting a second season! Even better, they’ve already finished filming it, which is amazing news. Now we just have to wait for them to tell us when it’s coming out, but I’m already counting down the days!
The Madison starts streaming on Paramount+ on 14 March.
