Following the release of the Y-3 x WB adidas Field Lizzard, Wales Bonner has created a full Y-3 collection. It blends her signature vintage aesthetic with the sporty designs of Yohji Yamamoto’s adidas line.

This campaign offers a personal look at artists and collectors in Tokyo, captured in their homes by photographer Takashi Homma. The spaces featured—ranging from classic Japanese rooms to collections of African art—highlight the diverse backgrounds of those involved, including Tokyo-based Yohji Yamamoto and British designer Wales Bonner, who draws inspiration from her Caribbean heritage. The clothing itself builds on this idea, blending Wales Bonner’s love of vintage adidas sportswear with Yamamoto’s signature minimalist style and traditional details.

Okay, so I’m really loving what Y-3 is doing with their new collection! The standout piece for me is this gorgeous coffee-colored satin track jacket – it’s so shiny and has this amazing embroidered design on the back that looks like Japanese nature scenes. They styled it with bright blue track pants that have brown stripes, which is a cool contrast. There’s also a tan knitted track jacket, and it’s got darker brown stripes and a little ‘Y-3 WB’ logo at the waist – it just looks super comfy and stylish.

The collection was completed with key seasonal pieces like a mesh tank top and baggy shorts, inspired by the SS26 season. Accessories included a simple brimmed beanie in two natural colors, and a bolder, roomier handbag made of patent leather featuring the golden Y-3 WB logo.

This collection features the Field Lizzard, a low-top sneaker designed with a football aesthetic. It blends reptile-patterned and black leather with subtle embossed logos and classic white stripes. Like the apparel in the collection, the shoes have a 70s sportswear vibe, and they serve as a standout highlight of this collaboration with the iconic designers.
