XRP ETF: Bitwise Steals the Crown, Leaves Competitors in Dust!

Well, slap my wallet and call me impressed! Bitwise’s XRP ETF has sashayed its way to the top, becoming the largest fund of its kind in the good ol’ U.S. of A.! That’s right, folks, it’s official: Bitwise is now the king of the XRP hill, and everyone else is just playing catch-up with a broken shoelace.

Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley (what a name, am I right?) couldn’t resist bragging about this milestone on the X social media network. “Look at us now!” he practically shouted into the void. The fund, trading under the ticker $XRP (because why not keep it simple?), raked in a cool $10 million in weekly inflows. Take that, competitors!

“Grateful to investors for trusting us with their hard-earned cash,” Bitwise gushed on social media. Aww, how humble! As reported by U.Today (the unsung hero of crypto news), Bitwise made a bold move by filing for an XRP ETF back in October 2024. And look where it’s gotten them-the penthouse suite of the crypto world!

The Wild West of XRP ETFs

The American market for spot XRP ETFs is like a high-stakes game of musical chairs, and everyone’s scrambling for a seat. The sector has hit a whopping $1 billion in total net assets-that’s right, with a “B”! According to SoSoValu (the name says it all), the asset class has seen a cumulative net inflow of $1.25 billion since these funds started trading. Cha-ching!

But the race for the top is tighter than a pair of skinny jeans after Thanksgiving dinner. Bitwise is currently leading the pack with $269.05 million in assets under management. But don’t count out Canary’s XRPC fund, which is hot on their heels with $262.17 million. Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ is holding down third place with $230.20 million, while 21Shares and Grayscale are bringing up the rear with $166.96 million and $72.49 million, respectively. It’s a real barn burner!

And let’s not forget the investors, who are piling in like it’s a Black Friday sale. On March 3 alone, the sector saw $7.53 million in net inflows and nearly $39 million in total value traded. That’s what I call a good day at the office!
