Xavier Woods will hold a singles title in 2025
As a longtime WWE fan and someone who has witnessed the rise and fall of numerous wrestling legends, I can confidently say that Xavier Woods is primed for greatness. The New Day’s breakup has been brewing for quite some time now, and it seems like we are finally on the brink of seeing Woods step into the spotlight.
In the annals of WWE history, The New Day stands out as one of the most adorned groups, with Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods achieving virtually every team objective. Yet, like any act in professional wrestling, they too have a finite lifespan, and it seems they’ve reached the peak of popularity, or as we might say, their act has become overly familiar.
For quite a while now, WWE has been hinting at the disbandment of The New Day, and it seems this storyline has reached its climax. With Kofi Kingston and Big E both enjoying their individual victories, it appears that Xavier Woods’ moment in the limelight is upon us. It’s clear that WWE selected him to be the cause behind The New Day’s collapse.
It’s inevitable that Xavier Woods will soon undergo a transformation to become a villain (heel), embark on a solo career, and engage in a substantial rivalry with Kofi Kingston. Fans are intrigued about how WWE might handle Woods once he concludes his feud with Kingston. The question on everyone’s mind is what storylines await Woods after his conflict with Kingston ends.
WWE finds itself in a prime position to make a substantial impact by showcasing Xavier Woods more prominently, thereby addressing concerns among professional wrestling enthusiasts about alleged discrimination within the creative team led by Triple H towards black wrestlers in high-profile events. Fans have raised this issue and presented data that seem to support their assertions.
It’s important to point out that Xavier Woods was instrumental in creating The New Day on-screen. Initially, they were villains who managed to stir up genuine animosity from the audience. Given his abilities, Woods could effortlessly replicate this level of success in his upcoming solo career within WWE.
As a devoted WWE fan, I must admit that the sheer skill level within the current roster makes it seem challenging for Xavier Woods to break into main event scenes. Yet, I firmly believe he has what it takes to step into mid-card title storylines and secure the Intercontinental Championship. The company should seize this moment and launch an Xavier Woods title run in 2025, while his popularity and talent are at their peak!
It’s also worth noting that the Intercontinental Championship was the first singles title Woods’ New Day partners Kofi Kingston and Big E held on the main roster. Woods can gradually work his way up to enter the title picture by next year and get his crowning moment at a high-profile PLE, preferably at WrestleMania 41.
