As you delve into the vast areas within the game Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, you’ll encounter peculiar creatures known as Bamboozlings. Unlike hostile beings, these entities scamper away when confronted but can be eliminated with a single strike. Defeating them grants players Bamboo Shoots, a valuable currency that can be exchanged for items, weapons, or upgrade materials.
In each new gameplay session of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, you won’t carry any leftover Bamboozlings from previous games. Instead, you must uncover them all during a single playthrough since they don’t persist between sessions. Here are the spots where you can find all the Bamboozlings in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.
Defeating all Bamboozlings unlocks the “Bamboozling Return” trophy/achievement.
Where to Find All Bamboozlings in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

| # | Nearest Shrine | Location |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Lightzen Temple (Worship’s Rise) | After defeating Master Raider – Man-eating Dhutanga in Lightzen Temple, you’ll receive the Lightzen Temple Key, which can be used to open the gate behind the Shrine. After unlocking the gate, head right to spot the first Bamboozling, who will start running away from you. |
| 2 | Lightzen Temple (Worship’s Rise) | Turn around from the Shrine and follow the path leading to Narrow Stretch. After acquiring the Bone Whistle, head right to find a cave where the Panda resides, with a Bamboozling along the path to it. |
| 3 | Shu Sanctum (Worship’s Rise) | From the Shrine, head down and turn right to cross the invisible bridge, then head left. When you reach the crossroads, look to your right to spot a rifle enemy with two dogs. Follow the path up and turn right after exiting the house, but be careful of the rolling boulder. Deal with the boulder enemy and look to the right to find a ladder that leads to the Fire Dancer area. Once the Fire Dancer has been dealt with, you’ll see multiple pathways. Ignore the one leading to Annalum and instead head up the left path, then open the door on your left. You’ll find the Bamboozling running toward a Jar enemy. |
| 4 | Mercury Workshop (Worship’s Rise) | Head down the path next to the Shrine, and immediately to your left will be a withered branch with an item. Grabbing the item will drop you onto the branch below. Follow the linear path up to the ladder, which leads out to another branch path. As you continue along this path, you’ll soon come across the Bamboozling. |
| 5 | Doomwillow Beach (Worship’s Rise) | From the Shrine, head straight past the enemy, ringing the bell. When you reach a blood river, head left and go up the path on the left when you reach the fire. At the end of the path, there should be a ladder that takes you to a Corpse Tree, which you can kick down. After talking to the Red-Clad Lady NPC on the other side, head down, and as you approach the passage up ahead, turn around and go across the path on the right. Before the path ends, you’ll spot a Bamboozling. |
| 6 | Palace Hill (Worship’s Rise) | After going past the first riddle door, you’ll come across the Palace Hill Shrine at the top of the ladder. Turn around from the Shrine, and you’ll find the small creature along the path with the exploding traps. |
| 7 | Cloudspire Outskirts (Cloudspire) | Turn around from the Shrine, head through the doorway, and go right to spot a house on your left. Inside, you’ll find a ladder you can climb up. Go past the corruption-inflicting block and head right. Ignore the path to the left that leads to the Rebel Camp, and instead open the door on the right. Keep going right, and after dealing with the enemy standing next to the dog, continue forward to find the Bamboozling just before the path that leads down to the shortcut for the Outskirts Shrine. |
| 8 | Rebel Camp (Cloudspire) | Climb down the ladder and go right toward the enemies operating the cannons. Deal with all of them so you can easily chase down the Bamboozling up ahead on the path leading to the elevator. Be careful, as there are many landmines along the way. |
| 9 | Snowfall Palace (Cloudspire) | Head left of the large staircase up ahead, and as you follow the path, you’ll find the next Bamboozling. |
| 10 | Shaft Entrance (Cloudspire) | From the Shrine, head straight and turn left when you spot the Pendulum Hammers. Go past the first one, then drop down onto the wooden platforms on your right. Follow the wooden beam up and into the next area, where you’ll find a tough enemy in the middle of the room alongside the Bamboozling and one of Wu Gang’s items. |
| 11 | Avian Marsh (Mt. Zhenwu) | Go up the first ladder next to the Shrine and drop down into the area. Take the path on the right until you see a Withered Branch. Grab the item and fall to the area below. Follow the path to the bottom, where you’ll find the Bamboozling. |
| 12 | Avian Dwelling (Mt. Zhenwu) | From the Shrine, head right across the tree and then left toward the path leading to the Tomb. You’ll find the Bamboo creature on the tree bridge. |
| 13 | Zhenwu Antechamber (Mt. Zhenwu) | Turn around from the Shrine, head left, and go up the staircase. Climb the ladder to the roof and head for the bridge on your left, being mindful of the enemies ahead. When you reach the Despair enemy, head downstairs and go toward the ladder at the edge. Climb all the way up and enter the main courtyard of the Temple. You’ll find it there. |
| 14 | Annalum Courtyard (Worship’s Rise in Ruins) | From the Shrine, head back to the invisible bridge you used to reach the Shrine initially. After passing the large chest with the Forgotten Remembrance, you’ll find the Bamboozling. |
| 15 | Shu Sanctum (Worship’s Rise in Ruins) | Head upstairs and take the path on the right, avoiding the enemy pushing down the boulder. Turn right and go down the wooden walkway, and when you reach the bottom, head left toward the gate to the Tang Emperor’s Palace. Once you reach the arena where you fought Commander Honglan, turn right and head toward the entrance of the Palace. Ignore the enemies fighting and continue straight toward a blood river, where you will find it. |
| 16 | Shu Sanctum (Worship’s Rise in Ruins) | From the previous Bamboozling location, head up the arched stairs, down the ladder, and turn left to follow the path. Drop down onto the platforms below and go across the red branch path, where you’ll find the next creature. |
| 17 | Shu Sanctum (Worship’s Rise in Ruins) | Turn around from the Shrine and exit the Sanctum toward the path that leads to the Reverant Temple. Keep going straight, and when you reach a crossroad, look ahead to spot two enemies fighting—the Bamboozling will be right next to them. |
| 18 | Capital Entrance (Bo Capital) | Head left from the Shrine and activate the Bronze Pillar to create a path ahead. Follow the path and drop down into the area with the giant flower enemy. Stick to the right path, and when you reach multiple flower enemies, head straight and turn right at the end. Ignore the dozens of enemies fighting and keep going up the stairs. When you spot a red branch path on your right, head up to find the Bamboozling. |
| 19 | Depths of the Capital (Bo Capital) | From the Shrine, head left and make your way to the Bronze Pillar to activate it. This will open two doors—ignore the one with the elevator and go through the other door, where you’ll find it. |
| 20 | Shrine Dwelling (Bo Capital) | After accessing the third riddle door, you can enter the Shrine Dwelling area by choosing the second option. Head downstairs from the Shrine and defeat the Demon of Obsession. After the fight, go through the doorway up ahead, and on the stairs, you’ll find the final Bamboozling. |
