The final two episodes of Big Mood aired on Thursday, April 30th, and showed how much Maggie and Eddie’s friendship had fallen apart. Throughout the season, the show explored whether their bond could withstand challenges and outside influences.

The second part of Big Mood largely focused on the consequences of Whitney joining the group, and how Eddie’s new friendship with her made Maggie feel increasingly left out. Given how close Maggie and Eddie usually are, this change in their dynamic was hard to miss.

By the end of the season, Maggie and Eddie finally had to deal with the hurt they’d caused each other. They revisited the bar where they first became friends and had a deeply honest conversation, one of the most emotional of the series. She told TV Insider she wanted to explore the impact of a new character on the existing dynamic and admits she didn’t have a clear ending in mind. She wasn’t even sure if the main characters would reconcile.

Camilla admitted she’s unsure about the future of Big Mood, even beyond the current season. While pleased with how the second season wraps up, she doesn’t have clear ideas for a third season and doesn’t envision the show continuing indefinitely. She originally intended to focus on the story of this particular friendship in this specific setting, leaving her open to either continuing or ending the series.
