With the arrival of the Patch 6.1 Update, developers at Riot Games will allow Wild Rift to delve into numerous exciting enhancements and upgrades. The Wild Rift Patch 6.1 update will also feature a variety of captivating events and cosmetic items like skins. Here’s a sneak peek at some thrilling gameplay adjustments, fresh content, champion reworks, new skin designs, and other enticing additions.

Wild Rift Patch 6.1 Update: New Champion releases and reworks

Ryze

Starting April 17th, I’m super excited to announce that I’ll be adding a new member to my Wild Rift roster – the enigmatic Rune Mage known as Ryze! Known as Realm Warp in the realm of Valoran, this mage hero is renowned for his powerful ultimate ability. With it, Ryze can effortlessly reposition and teleport on the battlefield, syncing up perfectly with his teammates. This makes him an excellent choice for major Macro plays, ensuring victories for my team!

Nocturne

In Wild Rift Patch 6.1, a new formidable character will make its entrance – none other than Nocturne. Nicknamed The Everlasting Nightmare, this jungle assassin champion boasts impressive skill sets, enabling it to chase down foes across the battlefield.

Zilean

In addition, you might recognize him as the Timekeeper, Zilean is one of the three fresh champions set to debut in Wild Rift’s Patch 6.1 release. His skills enable him to manipulate time, slow down opponents and their attacks, giving you and your team an advantage during critical team battles. Zilean also has the power to rewind time, reversing any harm inflicted on allies. When utilized strategically, this ability can significantly shift the course of combat.

Champion Reworks

Damian

Developers aim to boost Damian’s power when he transforms into Baron Laner. Specifically, his third skill, Judgment, will inflict greater damage on opponents and simultaneously decrease their total defense.

Ambressa

In a slight adjustment, Ambressa’s role will shift towards becoming a more effective Lane-dominating character rather than primarily a Jungler. This transformation will involve decreasing her overall damage inflicted on monsters, but enhancing her survivability by boosting her sustain and making her abilities immune to displacement.

Gameplay Changes

The Devs will be introducing some fun new additions to the Rift:

  • Special portals will now appear on the Rift to toss out Enchanted Gifts during the Laning phase.
  • Picking up these special portals will grant an active ability that triggers special effects, complementing your gameplay experience.
  • Mage Boots like Boots of Mana and Ionian Boots of Lucidity will now grant more power, boosting the mage’s overall clearing ability and efficiency
  • The Devs will be introducing a new Hextech GLP800 Boot enchantment that will aid mages, allowing them to deal bonus magic damage while constantly slowing them with freezing hits.
  • The Devs will be introducing a new Bandle Fantasy item that empowers magic damage attacks by adding bonus damage to active skill attacks.
  • Malignance is another equipment that greatly enhances your damage output by burning enemies and reducing their magic resistance the more you attack them.

AAA-ARAM

This approach is set to offer an even more captivating and thrilling experience, providing you with equal enjoyment as traditional ARAM games. It’s going to introduce fresh, exhilarating Starry Fragments that significantly boost your gaming adventure within this new mode.

Wild Rift Patch 6.1 Update: Ranked Season, Wild Pass, and More Skins

Ranked Season 17 and Wild Pass

  • The Ranked Season 17 will start on April 17th with a new Janna skin as a free reward.
  • The new Wild Pass will showcase Wondertown Twisted Fate skin as the main skin of the pass.
  • The Second Wild Pass would feature Battlecast Nasus skin.

Players can expect a variety of fresh skin options too, such as Soulfighter skins, mechanical skins, porcelain skins, Nightbringer skins, and many more exciting choices!
