If you’re watching the third season of The Capture on BBC One or BBC iPlayer, you might recognize one of the lead actors, Killian Scott. He plays Noah Pierson, the recently revealed head of SO15.
After almost four years, the popular BBC series came back for a third season last month, with Holliday Grainger once again playing the part of Inspector Rachel Carey.
One year after revealing the truth about ‘Correction’, Rachel Carey returns with a groundbreaking plan called Operation Veritas. This new system uses a network of cameras designed to detect and expose deepfakes as they happen.

Backed by Home Secretary Isaac Turner, these changes promised a fresh start for how the UK combats terrorism. However, a devastating attack in central London quickly shattered that hope, and Rachel found herself as the crucial witness to the event.
Pierson played a central role in the third series as the new leader of SO15. Though his background was initially unclear, the most recent episode revealed he’s actually Captain William Walker, a soldier who was part of a secret organization known as The Increment.
What to Read Next
You might recognize the lead actor from previous roles in popular series like Dublin Murders, Kaos, Secret Invasion, and Strike.
The BBC crime drama Dublin Murders features Scott and Sarah Greene as detectives Rob Reilly and Cassie Maddox. The series, created by Sarah Phelps, is currently streaming on Netflix.

Netflix’s Kaos offers a modern take on Greek mythology, with Jeff Goldblum playing Zeus as he becomes increasingly paranoid. The story follows three humans who are predicted to change the course of history. Despite featuring Scott as Orpheus, the show was unfortunately cancelled after just one season.
Scott played the character Pagon in the Disney+ series Secret Invasion, which centers on Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury and his efforts to prevent a secret invasion of Earth by Skrulls—aliens who can change their appearance.
The BBC iPlayer series Strike reunited Scott with Holliday Grainger, his co-star from The Capture. Based on the novels by JK Rowling (writing as Robert Galbraith), the show centers on Cormoran Strike (Tom Burke), a former soldier turned detective, and his assistant, Robin Ellacott (Grainger), as they investigate challenging cases in London. Scott portrayed Detective Inspector Eric Wardle.
The Capture airs on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
