The world of Wuxia is full of challenges, and the free-to-play action RPG Where Winds Meet is no exception. The upcoming Hexi Expansion, launching on March 5th, will introduce several new boss battles. While we’ve glimpsed these bosses before, a recent trailer from IGN Fan Fest finally revealed their names.
The lamia with two swords and lightning powers is known as the Moongazing Maiden, and Guo Xin is the older warrior who fights with a fiery banner. The large, somewhat frightening giant goes by Wucan, and the massive, lion-like creature is called the Sentinel Howlion.
One of the most captivating encounters is with Snowplum Requiem. You might recall the trailer showing a player being lifted by strings like a puppet – that’s the work of this unique boss fight. It features two opponents: one plays a Guzheng, and the other a flute. Interestingly, they’re both blindfolded, which adds to the enigma. They look impressive, but you’ll need to be well-prepared to win!
The new Hexi expansion for Where Winds Meet, titled ‘Jade Pass’, will be released on March 5th, adding a large desert area to the game. Everstone Studio will be showcasing more information about the expansion, including new activities, during a livestream on February 26th at 6 PM. Be sure to tune in to learn more!
