The release date for the Where Winds Meet expansion, “Imperial Palace,” has been announced, and it will be available very shortly.
Everstone Studio and NetEase Games announced that a big update will be released on May 28th, and a new trailer has been revealed to showcase it.
The new expansion will be available on PlayStation 5, computers via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and mobile devices running iOS and Android.
Where Winds Meet “Imperial Palace” Expansion Launches on May 28
This update features a huge new map based on the palace complex in Kaifeng, offering over a million square meters of highly detailed environments to discover.
The narrative will shift from the Hexi region to the heart of the empire’s political landscape. There, players will discover plots connected to the royal family and hidden truths that could endanger the entire Jianghu world.
The update will introduce over 3,000 distinct characters, plus various court groups with complicated connections and rivalries. Players can also enjoy classic pastimes like cricket fighting and ice frolicking.
The palace is organized into three main sections: the Front Court, the Inner Quarters, and the Central Bureaus. Players will begin by exploring the palace as investigators, and will eventually become secret agents for the “Office of Martial and Virtue,” the court’s top intelligence group. As agents, they’ll complete missions and daily tasks while working undercover.
This update adds several new things to the game, including campaigns, powerful world bosses, and multiplayer challenges. You’ll be able to try out the “Sealed Treasury” and “Confinement Tower” campaigns, and battle new bosses like Gilded Lament and the Cat Emperor. Team up with others to take on Everdeer and Moongazing in exciting multiplayer battles.
Next June, players can celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival in the game by making gifts for their in-game friends and participating in traditional activities. Completing these activities will unlock special rewards.
