In the game Where Winds Meet, the quest ‘Her Legacy’ involves players following a series of treasure maps across Qinghe to learn the secrets of the person who started the quest.
This guide will help you solve all five treasure map clues in Her Legacy, making it easier to find your way through the quest. Here’s how to do it.
Her Legacy Walkthrough in Where Winds Meet
You can begin the Her Legacy quest in Heaven’s Pier after finishing Chapter One: Heaven Has No Pier. Once that chapter is complete, simply go back to Heaven’s Pier in Qinghe and approach the spot marked on the map to automatically start the quest.
Approach the quest marker and you can find the first clue on one of the shelves with the wine jars.
Treasure Map Clue #1
The next clue leads to a small waterfall just west of Heaven’s Pier, where the river flows to an end. You’ll find an old fisherman there. If you can beat him in a fishing contest, he’ll give you the next treasure map.
Treasure Map Clue #2
This treasure map leads to the General’s Shrine, the starting area for the duel arena competition. Across from the arena, you’ll find a large building where Fu Lushou and Zhao Dali are located. Right next to this building, you’ll see a stack of pots against the wall (as shown in the picture). Break these pots to uncover the next clue. After that, speak to the Sweeping Villager nearby to continue the quest.
Treasure Map Clue #3
The treasure map points to a small hut on a deserted mountain in Kilnfire Ridge (see map above). You’ll find a Woodcutter outside, chopping wood. Speak with him to discover that the “Heroine” hid the next clue on a rooftop nearby. Follow the on-screen marker to the roof under the tree, and examine the scroll on the tiles to find it.
Treasure Map Clue #4
This clue points you towards the area around the Bamboo Abode, where your journey in Where Winds Meet begins. Quickly travel to the Bamboo Retreat Boundary Stone and go north. You’ll see a hunter practicing archery – talk to him and beat him in an archery contest to get your next lead.
Treasure Map Clue #5
The last clue says, “See you at the Bamboo Grove Hut!” This is the place where the game begins and where you first meet Ruby. You can find the clue itself behind the hut, tucked between the two small sets of stairs.
Her Legacy Quest Rewards
Collect Ruby’s Letter. You can find it in your Bag under the ‘Quest Items’ section. Reading the letter will give you the Red Thread cosmetic item. Then, go inside the hut to the marked location to watch the final cutscene and finish the ‘Her Legacy’ quest. Completing the quest will reward you with:
- Echo Jade x25
- Qinghe Exploration x24
- Coin x10000
- Character EXP x1000
