While exploring the Verdant Wilds in Where Winds Meet, you’ll encounter rumors about a mysterious, puzzle-loving cat named Meow Meow from Weiyang. She likes to challenge travelers with riddles and puzzles, hoping someone can solve them!

While the game calls Meow Meow’s challenges riddles or puzzles, most of them are actually tricky obstacle courses. Even though they might seem simple, completing these challenges gives you great rewards, so they’re definitely worth doing. All Verdant Wilds Meow Meow Puzzles in Where Winds Meet

Meow Meow Puzzle 1

Okay, so I found the first Meow Meow puzzle! You can find him at the eastern side of Verdant Wilds. There’s a glowing sword there, and when you interact with the handle, the puzzle starts. Basically, you have to collect 11 blue Will-o-the-Wisps within 30 seconds – they’re pretty easy to spot and grab! Once you get all 11, you unlock some cool rewards!

Meow Meow Puzzle 2

You’ve reached the eastern side of Verdant Wilds. Head north, following the edge of the area, until you find a waterfall. The cat you’re looking for is directly across from it. Talk to the cat and then interact with the sword in front of it to start the challenge. You’ll need to collect 6 Will-o-the-Wisps within 33 seconds to succeed and get your rewards.

Meow Meow Puzzle 3

Once you’ve solved the second puzzle, head northwest to find the cat. Interact with the sword hilt again to start a new challenge: you need to chop down 15 bamboo stalks within 20 seconds. If you succeed, you’ll receive the following reward:

  • 2500x Coin 
  • 2x Oscillating Jade 
  • 2500 EXP

Meow Meow Puzzle 4

After solving the third puzzle, head northwest along the edge of the area to find the fourth. You’ll see a cat by the river. To start the next challenge, interact with the sword’s handle. You’ll need to gather 7 Will-o’-the-Wisps within 35 seconds to succeed and earn the rewards.

Meow Meow Puzzle 5

After solving the fourth puzzle, head southwest and cross the river to find the cat near the General Shrine. You’ll see two statues beside the cat, and another one facing it. To finish the puzzle, just move the single statue and place it with the other two. This will reward you with:

Meow Meow Puzzle 6

The last puzzle is located just southwest of where you solved the fifth one. When you get there, you’ll see a cat again, and near it, two statues. To finish the challenge and claim your rewards, simply turn the statues so they are facing each other.
