When is trading coming to Pokémon TCG Pocket?
As a seasoned Pokémon Trainer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that trading has always been a crucial aspect of the Pokémon universe. It brings an element of camaraderie and excitement to the game that no other feature quite matches.
Is the trading functionality going to significantly enhance the experience of Pokémon TCG Pocket? However, I’m curious, when exactly will this feature be rolled out for use?
In the newest Pokémon mobile game for smartphones, players can connect as friends and engage in battles using their top-tier decks. However, upon its release, the trade feature wasn’t available. It’s already built into the game, but it is currently locked. So, when exactly will trading be accessible in Pokémon TCG Pocket?
What they all wish to find out is the solution to that question. It would be fantastic for socializing with friends and completing your set, but unfortunately, we don’t yet know when it will happen. However, there are a few clues that might help.
What we know about when trading will come to Pokémon TCG Pocket
In the Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG) Pocket’s Social Hub, you’ll encounter a Trade button. At present, it’s inactive and labeled as “Coming Soon,” implying that its arrival is imminent. However, we can’t predict exactly when that will be. Some recent whispers suggest that it might not be too long from now.
Initially, three Booster Packs were introduced as part of the Genetic Apex series at their release. More packs are expected to be added later on. Numerous indications from data mining, leaks, and whispers suggest that new packs could arrive in December 2024 and January 2025.
During one of these growth phases, it’s widely believed that trading in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (PTCG) Pocket will become possible. It seems that the developers have prepared it for release and are simply waiting for players to amass a substantial collection before they start exchanging cards with each other.
When it arrives, keep in mind that it won’t be as simple as exchanging letters. Instead, you might encounter a system similar to opening packs or using Wonder Picks, which will likely involve some effort. Additionally, there could be limitations, so trading rare cards may necessitate offering a rare card or an equivalent group of cards in return.
