In Monster Hunter World, Silver Eggs appear to be rare and valuable items. They can only be found sporadically when a particular vendor is at your campsite, and they are labeled as “trade-in items,” which gives them an air of mystery. However, contrary to their appearance, these eggs do not serve the purpose of trading with the village broker. Unfortunately, Capcom does not explicitly reveal what Silver Eggs are used for.
In our Monster Hunter Wilds Silver Eggs tutorial, we show you the steps for acquiring Silver Eggs and offer advice on what to do with them after collection.
Monster Hunter Wilds: How to get Silver Eggs

In the initial release of Monster Hunter Wilds, the sole method for acquiring Silver Eggs is by obtaining them from the Support Ship once it arrives at your base camp. However, the Support Ship can only become accessible after completing the main storyline, which typically happens around Chapter Four.
The Provisions Vessel rarely carries Silver Orbs filled with assorted goods as extras. Should an Orb be available, you would need to spend 300 Guild Coins for the acquisition. When Santiago stocks them, he usually has a pair on hand almost every time.
The Support Vessel visits every three times within the game world for a duration of three days each time. If you’re running low on Zenny, you might want to manipulate the system by saving just before the vessel arrives, taking a break, checking its inventory the following day, reloading, and trying again. On the other hand, you can speed up its arrival by resting until it returns, but this requires 1,800 Guild Points and may not be worth it. Some players claim that purchasing all other items from the vessel increases the likelihood of finding Silver Eggs in its inventory, although we’ve found no evidence to support this in our tests, and it appears the presence of Silver Eggs is entirely random for Santiago.
Monster Hunter Wilds: What to do with Silver Eggs?
In Wilds, the Silver Eggs are labeled as “trade-in items,” however, they can’t be traded with other players or the village intermediary or his associates. Instead, the only way to use Silver Eggs is by selling them for Zenny. One Silver Egg fetches 10,000 Zenny, which is a substantial amount, but not so much that it’s worth investing significant time in farming many of these Silver Eggs.
