What Larry Emdur's alleged stalker told security after being arrested at Channel 7 building - as he is slapped with a restraining order

As an ardent fan of Larry Emdur, this news has left me utterly bewildered and concerned. The audacity of some individuals to invade another’s personal space is beyond comprehension. I can’t help but imagine what it must be like for Larry, a man who has spent years entertaining millions on our screens, to now have to deal with such unwarranted intrusion in his real life.

A gentleman from the Victorian era was warned by court that he needs to maintain a distance of at least 2 kilometers from Larry Emdur, a celebrated TV personality who won the Gold Logie, after entering Channel 7’s building and expressing his intention to shake hands with him. This rule is imposed under the conditions set by a restraining order.

In response to an incident at their Sydney building on August 22, authorities have issued a Protection Order against Rodney Pearce, a man from Victoria, for the safety of The Morning Show co-host, who is 59 years old. This order was put in place due to the violent nature of the situation.

It emerged on Monday that Pearce managed to get into the building by walking behind security via a gate, and subsequently, an employee allowed him into an elevator.

He was escorted from the building by security and when confronted he said: ‘I’m here to shake Larry Emdur’s hand.’

As a diligent supporter, I found myself apprehended, then escorted to the hospital for evaluation prior to being formally charged by the authorities. Subsequently, an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) was established in defense of Emdur.

On a Monday morning, at the Downing Centre Local Court in Sydney, Magistrate Greg Grogin concluded the Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) without Pearce or his attorney being present in the courtroom.

In court, Mr. Grogin stated that the police application demonstrated a valid justification for issuing the Apprehended Violence Order (AVO).

Under the conditions of the order, Pearce must not approach or contact Emdur.

He is barred from going within 2km of any place where Emdur lives or works, in particular the Channel 7 building. Pearce was also charged with trespass and possession of a prohibited drug.

Earlier this month, he was penalized $550 at the Downing Centre Local Court without a plea being entered since he wasn’t present for the proceedings.

Emdur won the Gold Logie on August 18.

Earlier this month, I decided to speak up on my Instagram about the unfounded and exaggerated claims made by certain tabloids regarding a private matter concerning “stalking.” Their irresponsible reporting is not only inaccurate but also harmful, and it’s high time they start prioritizing truth over sensationalism.

He reassured fans that he’s doing well, still basking in the glow of the Logie Awards, and emphasized that reports suggesting him and his family are in peril are completely off-base.

In my latest update, let me clear up a common misconception that’s been circulating. It seems like there’s a lot of buzz around this topic, as I’ve noticed in various publications.

Later, the television host displayed a magazine containing an article on the accusations of his supposed stalker, explaining that New South Wales Police had obtained an Apprehension of Violence Order (AVO) to safeguard him (Emdur).

‘”Stalker warned. Leave Larry alone!”‘ Emdur read. ‘This whole thing. It’s a whole big deal. ” Larry Emdur , living in fear.” I just wanted to let you know, I’m fine!

I’m doing more than well right now. I’m still basking in the glow of the Logie Awards and enjoying every minute of it! The Morning Show and The Chase are both thriving, and my whiskey is tasting particularly good today.

Everything in my life is simply wonderful. Reading something like, “Larry Emdur living in fear because his family is in danger,” just doesn’t sit well with me. It’s unfair or incorrect.

He added: ‘It’s not what’s going on in my life… Anyway, thank you for your concern. I am completely 100 per cent fine. It is absolutely business as usual.’
