What do Lucky Vouchers do in Monster Hunter Wilds?
In Monster Hunter Wilds, you may have come across Lucky Vouchers in your daily login rewards. These small tickets serve as a gateway to some beneficial perks. Though experienced gamers might recall them from past titles, their specific functions can sometimes slip the mind. On the other hand, newcomers might be pondering how to activate them and if they should save them for particular events.
What are Lucky Vouchers?
Each day, players will gain Lucky Vouchers as a login bonus. These vouchers multiply the Zenny you earn by twice when you complete a hunt and boost the number of rewards you get. A pop-up hint also mentions “randomized reward setups,” but the exact interpretation is unclear. It could mean that the probability of getting rewards is randomly determined or that you receive an assorted group of additional rewards at random.
How to get Lucky Vouchers
In Monster Hunter Wilds, Lucky Vouchers are the rewards you receive for logging in each day. You’ll find these vouchers exclusively on the reward screen that pops up when you first sign in. If you happen to miss the notification, don’t worry! You can still view any missed messages by pressing ‘Y’ on your PC keyboard, ‘Menu’ on Xbox, or ‘Option’ on PlayStation controllers.
To prevent any vouchers from going unused, remember that you’re allowed to possess a total of just five Lucky Coupons at once. In case your allotted limit is already reached when you log in, the new voucher you acquire will automatically be forfeited.
When to use Lucky Vouchers
Since Lucky Vouchers multiply your rewards, it’s most advantageous to employ them during High Rank quests. This applies whether you’re gathering Decorations or battling Tempered Monsters for Artian weapon components. It’s also wise to use them in challenging hunts, as you will receive substantially more value for your voucher, but remember not to faint, as doing so would essentially be wasting a voucher.
How to use Lucky Vouchers
At Alma, you can utilize Luck Tokens when choosing a quest. Pick the quest you prefer, then click the checkbox next to “Use Luck Token” to activate it. The bar will show you how many are left in your inventory. After confirming the ticket, decide whether to embark on the quest right away or take some time to prepare, and anticipate a bounty of prizes!
If you happen to be wandering around an area in the game without being on a specific quest and encounter a monster, the game will prompt you to use a voucher. This voucher will show up in the message section on the right side of your screen. The reason it appears here is because otherwise, you wouldn’t have the option to choose. So, if you come across a Tempered Monster or a Frenzied one, you can still receive bonus rewards by using this voucher.
Vouchers in Lucky form are beneficial assets players should make the most of, but it’s crucial to use them wisely rather than on Low-tier hunts. It’s best to save them for High-tier quests or farming purposes instead. For additional useful suggestions, have a look at our Monster Hunter Wilds guide.
