In Monster Hunter Wilds, the Leviathan class is the second largest group, trailing only the Flying Wyverns. This category houses some of the largest and most perilous creatures in the game, including Jin Dahaad. These monsters pack a punch, but on the positive side, their immense size provides ample space to land attacks and gradually chip away at their health.

Hirabami

Hirabami resides at the Iceshard Cliffs primarily, but it may also be encountered in the elevated areas of Wyveria’s Ruins. This ice Leviathan is capable of causing Frostblight, leaving you frozen for a few moments unless you rapidly press buttons to break free. What makes Hirabami particularly challenging, however, is not just its elusive nature but also landing a successful hit. Due to its tendency to hover above the ground, targeting anything other than its tail can be tricky. To make hitting weak points easier, it’s recommended that you bring along a large weapon like the Long Sword or opt for a ranged weapon instead.
