Get ready to experience large-scale WWI-like battles and dominate objectives

Okay, I’m seriously hyped! The worldwide open beta for WELTKRIEG 1: Firestorm is finally happening. This first-person shooter instantly caught my eye when it was announced, and I’ve been counting down the days to get in there and fight in those huge battles with my team.

If you’re already familiar with previous Battlefield games, the Ultimate Conquest mode will seem quite similar. It’s much like the classic Control Point, where you capture and defend objectives. And for fast-paced action, you can always jump into Team Deathmatch. With 6v6 and 10v10 battles, you’re guaranteed plenty of excitement.

You can fight using classic weapons and tanks across iconic maps

I have to say, while all the different groups and character types are cool, what really grabbed me about this game is the World War I setting. There’s just something about fighting with classic guns and tanks on those famous battlefields that you don’t get in modern games. Honestly, even the little details – the muddy trenches and craters – just add so much to the experience!

As I mentioned earlier, the game seems really fun and engaging. It has exciting, fast-paced matches, a variety of game modes, and beautifully designed environments inspired by World War I. Plus, the different roles you can play, smooth performance, and focus on objectives all add to the experience. The graphics are also fantastic! Now, all that’s left to do is wait for the April 16th release to finally play it.

I’m so excited! It looks like WELTKRIEG 1: Firestorm is finally letting us play with an open beta on Android starting April 16, 2026. The developers said they’ll share the download links that day. Sadly, there’s no word yet on when iOS users will get a chance to test it, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed and will be watching for more news!
