Wednesday Season 3 has added three big stars to the cast of the Jenna Ortega Netflix show.
Wednesday is a comedy-mystery show created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. It follows Wednesday Addams, a character originally created by Charles Addams for The Addams Family. The show’s first season came out in 2022, followed by a second season last year. Netflix has renewed Wednesday for a third season, scheduled to premiere in July 2025.
Who has joined the cast of Wednesday Season 3?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy, and James Lance will be appearing in Season 3 of Wednesday. Details about the roles they’ll be playing haven’t been released yet.
The cast for Wednesday Season 3 will feature Eva Green, Winona Ryder, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan, and Kennedy Moyer, as was previously revealed.
Returning cast members for the new season include Jenna Ortega, along with Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair, Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin, Joy Sunday as Bianca Barclay, Moosa Mostafa as Eugene Ottinger, Georgie Farmer as Ajax Petropolus, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams, Billie Piper as Isadora Capri, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo as Sheriff Ritchie Santiago, Victor Dorobantu as Thing, Evie Templeton as Anges DeMille, Joanna Lumley as Grandmama Hester Frump, and Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester.
Lena Headey is famous for her roles as Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones and Sarah Connor in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. She’s also appeared in several films, including 300, Dredd, The Purge, and Fighting with My Family.
As a movie fan, I remember seeing Rob McCarthy in classics like St. Elmo’s Fire and Pretty in Pink back in the eighties – and who could forget Weekend at Bernie’s? More recently, I’ve really enjoyed Brett Lance as Trent Crimm in Ted Lasso. He’s fantastic in that role!
Wednesday Season 3 is currently in production. A premiere date has not yet been set.
