Watch the trailer for Tom Hiddleston’s “glorious” new movie The Life of Chuck
Tom Hiddleston and Chiwetel Ejiofor’s latest drama titled “The Life of Chuck” has unveiled its initial trailer as a sneak peek.
The movie, adapted from Stephen King’s 2020 novella, portrays the “inspiring” and “unconventional” tale of Charles ‘Chuck’ Krantz, portrayed by Hiddleston, Jacob Tremblay, Benjamin Pajak, and Cody Flanagan.
Following the untimely demise of Chuck, often referred to as an average man, due to a brain tumor at the age of 39, his narrative is presented in a unique manner, unfolding chronologically through three separate sections, depicting his life’s journey from his final moments to his earliest memories.
Before its upcoming theater premiere later in the year, Neon and StudioCanal unveiled the initial trailer for the movie. The clip presents glimpses of Chuck throughout different time periods, culminating in his statement: “The universe is vast, teeming with diversity, yet it harbors me as well.
Under the guidance of renowned horror filmmaker Mike Flanagan, the talented ensemble for “The Life of Chuck” features Annalise Basso, Karen Gillan, Matthew Lillard, Mark Hamill, Kate Siegel, and Nick Offerman.
In the midst of turmoil, numerous billboards celebrate Charles ‘Chuck’ Krantz, praising him for being a guiding force for 39 years,” the summary states. “Yet, no one in town recognizes him or knows if he could offer some insights as their world disintegrates.
Although “The Life of Chuck” won’t be released in cinemas until June 6, it received positive feedback during its world premiere at the 49th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September. On Rotten Tomatoes, it currently has an approval rating of 85% from 40 reviews.
Mashable considers the movie to be worthy of being watched in a theater setting among an audience, while Movie Madness Podcast describes it as a uplifting experience that is among the top adaptations of Stephen King’s work and a journey worth living.
The Life of Chuck is in US cinemas on June 6; there is no UK release date.
