Okay, so I went to this festival thinking it would be one thing, but honestly? It totally became all about watching Brenda Blethyn bust a move! Seriously, she surprised everyone with her dancing – it was the highlight for me!
The actor known for roles in Vera and Atonement was on stage with Steph McGovern when a technical issue arose. They had to improvise and keep the audience entertained while the problem was being resolved.
After that, McGovern posted videos of herself and Blethyn having fun on stage, doing some Irish dancing and playfully moving across the stage.
Even if their timing wasn’t perfect – and Brenda Blethyn’s dancing would likely receive harsh criticism from Craig Revel Horwood on Strictly Come Dancing – they clearly had a great time, and so did everyone watching.
