VisionQuest’s Agatha All Along Connection, Season 2 for MCU Disney+ Show Teased

As a huge Marvel fan, I’m getting really excited about the Disney+ show, VisionQuest! We’ve just learned some cool stuff about it – apparently, it’s going to tie into the incredibly catchy Agatha All Along storyline, and it’s officially been confirmed as Season 2 of that arc. It’s shaping up to be something special!

What is the VisionQuest Season 2 update?

VisionQuest is the third chapter in the WandaVision story, following WandaVision and Agatha All Along. The theme of parenthood is central to the whole series. While Agatha All Along focused on motherhood, VisionQuest will explore the important role of fathers.

Terry Matalas, the showrunner for VisionQuest, hinted in an interview with The Direct that the series will have ties to the song ‘Agatha All Along’.

Matalas confirmed there’s a connection to previous storylines. He hinted that, given the introduction of Tommy Maximoff in the ‘Agatha’ series, that character could reappear in future stories, though he didn’t confirm anything definitively.

Now that VisionQuest concludes the three-part story, will the show only have a single season?

When asked about a potential second season of VisionQuest, co-creator Jeff Matalas explained that the decision rests with Marvel and Disney. He clarified that the storyline doesn’t need to be continued independently, as the characters and their challenges are already somewhat self-contained. He hinted that the possibility of revisiting these characters exists if Marvel and Disney choose to do so.

Paul Bettany returns as Vision in VisionQuest. The cast also features James Spader as Ultron, Todd Stashwick as Paladin, and Ruaridh Mollica as Tommy Maximoff.

The cast includes T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., Henry Lewis as D.U.M.-E., Jonathan Sayer as U, Faran Tahir as Raza, and James D’Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S.

Following the events of WandaVision, White Vision is having trouble understanding the memories he received, because he doesn’t experience the emotions that go with them.

VisionQuest will consist of eight episodes. It will premiere on Disney+ in late 2026.
