Victoria Beckham shares birthday tribute to her longstanding best pal Charlotte Tilbury as she invites makeup mogul to join the Spice Girls

Victoria Beckham posted a birthday message for her friend Charlotte Tilbury, who turned 53 on Tuesday.

The 51-year-old fashion designer posted a video on Instagram of her and a friend exchanging Christmas gifts from 2022, celebrating her friend’s birthday.

Oh my god, you guys, I just saw the most AMAZING video! Charlotte literally confessed to Posh Spice that her biggest dream is to be a Spice Girl! She was practically begging, saying, ‘Darling, please, please let me join! I NEED to be a Spice Girl!’ I’m seriously losing it right now, this is incredible!

Victoria immediately showed her enthusiastic support for the British business owner by playfully declaring them an honorary ‘Spice Girl’.

When Charlotte wondered what nickname she should use, her mother, who has four children, playfully suggested ‘Magic Spice’ or ‘Beauty Spice.’ The makeup artist immediately loved the idea and excitedly exclaimed, ‘I’m in! I’m in!’

In the video, Victoria playfully suggests that Charlotte will reveal Geri Horner’s role in a potential band reunion, saying Charlotte has heard rumors about one happening.

Victoria shared her thoughts shortly after Marc Anthony publicly responded to Brooklyn Beckham’s surprising announcement about their family.

Recently, the 26-year-old publicly announced on Instagram, in a detailed six-page post, that he was cutting off contact with his parents, David and Victoria.

Okay, so everyone’s talking about this, and honestly, it’s devastating. Apparently, Brooklyn claims his own mom basically ruined his first dance with Nicola at their wedding! He says his mom ‘hijacked’ it! Can you believe it? He was dancing with Nicola, and then Marc, the performer, called him up on stage – like, pulled him away from his wife on their wedding night! It’s just… heartbreaking to think about, honestly. He feels like a really special moment was stolen from him, and I totally get why he’s so upset!

He alleged that his mother behaved inappropriately and danced on him in front of others, leaving him feeling deeply uncomfortable and humiliated. He stated it was the most embarrassing experience of his life.

Marc, a longtime friend of David and Victoria, publicly addressed the recent conflict on Monday, calling the situation ‘extremely unfortunate’ and suggesting that much of what’s been reported isn’t accurate.

The singer told The Hollywood Reporter they didn’t want to comment on the family situation.

They’re a wonderful, wonderful family. I’ve known them since before the kids were born. I’m godfather to Cruz,’ he went on, referring to Brooklyn’s younger brother, 20.

I’m very close to this family, but I don’t want to comment on what’s been happening. It’s upsetting to see how things are being portrayed, and I don’t believe the current narrative is accurate.

Brooklyn shared on Instagram that he felt his parents had been attempting to sabotage his relationship with Nicola and had been controlling him throughout his life.

Marc unexpectedly pulled Brooklyn and then Victoria onto the stage during the wedding, taking over what Brooklyn and Nicola had envisioned as their special first dance moment.

According to reports, the Latin star singled out Posh Spice as ‘the most beautiful woman in the room’ and invited her to join him, a gesture that apparently shocked guests instead of the bride, Nicola.

Nicola was heartbroken watching Marc dance to a love song on stage, and she left the room crying.

Before Marc addressed the accusations, Fat Tony, the DJ at Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding, said the Latin singer was responsible.

A close friend of the Beckhams, Tony, shared that Marc had asked Victoria to dance with their son and then told the boy, ‘Put your hands on your mother’s hips.’

He clarified that the performance didn’t involve anything overtly sexual or flashy, like provocative dancing or costumes reminiscent of the Spice Girls. He explained he’d used the word ‘inappropriate’ because of the timing of events – that’s what had led him to say it.

He also mentioned that Nicola’s family approached her, and Brooklyn seemed embarrassed, quickly going to find his wife after the uncomfortable dance.

The DJ told the Daily Mail that Brooklyn once put his hands around his mother’s waist, and she wrapped her arms around his neck.

‘The timing was inappropriate for me. It was meant to be a bride and groom’s moment,’ he told us. 

Everything happened quickly. Brooklyn left immediately after the dance ended. Nicola left the room and then went after her.

He continued, explaining that he’s friends with Brooklyn and feels the whole situation is terrible, especially because it’s been so public. He believes family issues are complicated and doesn’t know how it all began, but suspects someone may have said something that fueled the conflict.

He went on to explain that Brooklyn tends to get worked up over many issues, and even minor problems can seem huge because they draw so much attention.

I’m not taking sides or criticizing anyone involved, I’m simply clarifying what actually happened with the dance.

The Beckhams are friends with a lot of famous people – from actors like Eva Longoria and singer Elton John, to even royalty – and Marc is part of that impressive group.

He’s been friends with the family for years, and David and Victoria apparently connected with him through their shared appreciation for his music.
