Vicki Gunvalson asks for prayers for her second home Puerto Vallarta amid violent cartel retaliation

Vicki Gunvalson, one of the original stars of The Real Housewives of Orange County, requested prayers for her vacation home in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, following recent violence related to cartel activity.

The 63-year-old, originally from Chicago and with 2.4 million followers on social media, posted a message saying she was safe and not currently in Puerto Vallarta.

I’ve been so touched by all the kind messages and support – it really means the world to me. Right now, I’m thinking of everyone who’s been affected, and I’d be so grateful if you could join me in sending them your prayers and positive energy. Sending all my love and heartfelt thoughts to anyone who needs a little extra support right now.

Victoria Steinmetz, known as Gunvalson, had been visiting the coastal town for 30 years when she purchased a second home there in June 2020, right when the COVID-19 pandemic was at its peak.

The CEO of Coto Insurance enjoys stunning Pacific Ocean views from her high-rise apartment. She can relax in her jacuzzi on the breezy patio and take in the scenery.

After living there for more than 26 years, Tamra Gunvalson sold her well-known five-bedroom home in Coto de Caza for $3 million in 2021.

Mexican Army Special Forces attempted to capture drug lord Nemesio Oseguera, known as ‘El Mencho,’ in Tapalpa on Sunday. However, he died while being transported to Mexico City by the military.

In response, the Jalisco New Generation Cartel launched a series of violent attacks in 20 states across Mexico. They set businesses on fire and left tourists stuck at airports as flights were canceled.

Tamra Gunvalson finished filming The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th on February 2nd. The new season will air on Bravo later this year.

I’m so grateful for these amazing women! Being around them – each a pioneer in their own community – is incredibly meaningful to me,” the mother of four shared on February 1.

It all began with a simple concept, but it grew into a groundbreaking reality TV series, and these incredible women are the reason ‘Housewives’ became the cultural phenomenon it is today. We had an unforgettable time, and this season, full of fun and friendship, is something you won’t want to miss. I’m so thankful to be sharing this experience with such powerful and inspiring women.

The cast also features Luann de Lesseps, Porsha Williams, Teresa Giudice, Kyle Richards, Gizelle Bryant, and Lisa Barlow.

Tamra Gunvalson is returning for the twentieth season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, despite a complicated relationship with the show over the years.

She was one of the original cast members of The Real Housewives when the show first started in 2006, appearing with stars like Jeana Keough and Jo De La Rosa. The mother of two has been divorced twice.

After being a full-time cast member for 13 seasons, Tamra Gunvalson’s role was reduced to a ‘friend of the show’ for season 14, where she appeared in 12 episodes. She then left the show completely in 2020.

After graduating from Harper College, the actor’s role was reduced to a ‘guest star’ for the seventeenth season, and they only appeared in five episodes.

As someone who keeps a close eye on what’s trending, I’ve noticed Tamra Gunvalson really knows how to build a brand! Beyond her Cameo appearances – where she earns a solid $125 per video – she’s become a true influencer. She’s partnering with brands like Sunlighten Saunas, Q Care Plus, and The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, and it’s clear she’s a natural at connecting with an audience and promoting products she believes in.
