Version 2.6 “Encore for an Old Dream” Pre-Download & Update Notice

Dear Proxies,

Version 2.6 is now available to download before the update. If you’d like to get a head start, you can download some of the files now, which will let you jump into the game quicker once the update is finished.

[Pre-Download Details]

● PC

The pre-download file is about 8 GB.

● Mobile (Android and iOS)

The pre-download file is about 5 GB.

● PS5™ or PS5™ Pro

The pre-download file is about 20 GB.

● Xbox Series X|S

The pre-download file is about 23 GB.

Because the download is quite large, please make sure you have enough free space on your device and use a Wi-Fi connection to avoid data charges.

※ The Voice Pack(s) installed on the client will affect the space required for the pre-download.

[How to Pre-Download]

● PC

Once you open the HoYoPlay Launcher, you’ll see a “Pre-Download” button next to the “Start Game” button. Just click it to start downloading!

※ PC users can continue playing the game during the pre-download.

● Mobile (Android and iOS)

To begin downloading the game’s files, launch the game and tap the “Pre-Download Resources” button located in the bottom-right corner of your screen.

If you’re using a mobile device, you won’t be able to play the game while it’s pre-downloading. Please make sure to start the download at a time that works for you.

● PS5™ or PS5™ Pro

Once Zenless Zone Zero is released, your device will automatically start downloading the game files if you have enough free storage space, but this will happen after a short delay.

※ PS5™ or PS5™ Pro users can continue playing the game during the pre-download.

● Xbox Series X|S

Once Zenless Zone Zero is released, your device will automatically start downloading the game files if you have enough free storage space, but this will happen after a short delay.

You can also download Zenless Zone Zero in advance through your Xbox Series X|S console. Simply go to the home screen, then select ‘My games & apps,’ ‘Manage,’ and finally ‘Updates’.

※ Xbox Series X|S users can continue playing the game during the pre-download.

The game will be temporarily unavailable while our developers update the game to the latest version. You won’t be able to log in during this maintenance. We’ll share more details about the update soon, so please check back for updates.

2026/02/06 06:00 (UTC+8): We estimate this will take five hours.

We’ll share more information soon about what’s new in the next update, including gameplay changes, improvements, bug fixes, and any rewards we’re offering.

[Version Update Compensation]

Server Update Compensation: Polychrome ×300

To receive compensation for the server update, Proxies need to reach Inter-Knot Level 4 by February 6th, 2026, at 6:00 AM (UTC+8).

You’ll receive compensation for the server update through in-game mail once the update is finished. Please be sure to claim it before Version 2.6 ends.

[How to Update]

When the update maintenance begins, players can follow the instructions within the game to update it.

● PC

Exit the game, restart, then select update.

● Android

After entering the game, follow the in-game pop-up instructions to complete the update.

● iOS

Go to the App Store and select update.

● PS5™ or PS5™ Pro

From the PS5™ home screen, select Zenless Zone Zero. Then, press and hold the Options button on your controller to check if any updates are available.

● Xbox Series X|S

To update Zenless Zone Zero on your Xbox Series X|S, go to the dashboard, then select ‘My games & apps’. From there, choose ‘Manage’ and find Zenless Zone Zero on the ‘Updates’ page. Confirm the update when prompted.
