Venom: The Last Dance credit scenes explained – how many are there?

As a longtime comic book enthusiast and Venom fanatic, I have to say that “Venom: The Last Dance” has truly outdone itself. After following Eddie Brock and his symbiotic companion through two thrilling installments, I was on the edge of my seat for this final chapter.

In movie theaters now, you can catch “Venom: The Last Dance” which brings the story of the peculiar partnership between Eddie and Venom to its conclusion.

Prior to its premiere, it was made clear that this is the concluding Venom film. Yet, the creators have hinted that this may only mark the beginning of Knull’s saga within Sony’s Spider-Man cinematic universe.

It’s possible that we haven’t seen the last of Tom Hardy as Venom, since he’s expressed interest in reprising the role. This suggests that the ending may not be as final as we initially thought.

Considering this, you might be curious if there are any post-credits scenes in Venom 3, to keep you engaged and hint at what’s coming next.

That’s where we come in to help with the definitive Venom: The Last Dance credit scene guide with all you need to know, including how many post-credit scenes there are and what happens in them.

The first credit scene catches up with Knull who is still trapped on Klyntar after his Xenophages didn’t manage to free him. However, he’s not losing hope.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but share a chilling statement I overheard: “Your hero has fallen,” Knull ominously whispers, alluding to Venom’s selfless act at the movie’s end, where he destroyed the codex that could have freed Knull. “The King in Black has been awakened… Everything and everyone will be consumed by flames, and you will bear witness.

In Sony’s Spider-Man universe, Venom 3 is intended to merely introduce the character of Knull. Therefore, we can only anticipate where this character might reappear in an upcoming film.

As I gaze upon the wreckage that was once Area 51, my heart swells with awe. The remnants of the massive battle we witnessed still echo in my mind, leaving me breathless. Now, all that remains is a landscape of ruin and rubble, a stark testament to the epic clash that unfolded here.

In simpler terms, towards the end of the film, Cristo Fernández’s bartender, who had been seized by General Strickland earlier, stumbled out from a close-by cave. It seemed he was fortunate to dodge the symbiote turmoil during the last battle and staggered off with quite a distance yet to walk ahead.

The camera shifts focus to a shattered flask, which once housed one of several symbiote specimens from the hidden laboratory. A roach scurries inside, suggesting residue remained and has since attached itself to the creature.

It wouldn’t be unreasonable if you thought the object Strickland picked up from the bar earlier could have been a fragment of the Venom symbiote.

It might just be hopeful speculation, but the glimmer of electric energy seen in the container suggests that there could be remnants of the Agony symbiote remaining from when Dr. Teddy Paine shattered the vial.

We’ve never seen Venom sparkle, even in symbiote form. Apart from his personality, of course.

It might simply be a reference to the fact that symbiotes are now free in the world, as shown in the events of Venom 3. However, we can keep our fingers crossed that it’s a small piece of Venom lingering around, which has now found its way onto a cockroach and is heading towards Eddie.

After all, as Venom tells Eddie before his sacrifice: “It’s just bye for now.”
