Good news for Venom fans! After three successful movies starring Tom Hardy, the popular anti-hero is getting a new adventure, and Tom Hardy will be back to play him!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony Pictures Entertainment is developing a new animated movie. Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, known for their work on Final Destination Bloodlines, are reportedly directing the film.
Hardy is onboard as a producer, though it is unclear if he will reprise his role as Eddie Brock.

He’ll be working with producers Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, and Kelly Marcel. Marcel has experience with the Venom movies, having contributed to all three films in different roles.
The movie doesn’t have a title or a release date yet, and no writers are currently working on it. Because animated films take a long time to make, it might be several years before the alien character returns to theaters.
It’s still uncertain if Tom Hardy will return as Venom, even potentially just as a voice actor. He did discuss what might happen with his character after the movie Venom: The Last Dance comes out in 2024.

It appears that Tom Hardy’s Venom won’t be appearing in any future Spider-Man movies. Hardy stated he hasn’t received a script for Spider-Man, which suggests there are no plans to include Eddie Brock/Venom in the series at this time.
