Vans is adding to its classic shoe collection with a new release: the OTW Slip-On 98 Knot Vibram pack.
Inspired by the classic Style 98 skate shoe, which was popular in Southern California in the late 1970s, this new version offers a fresh take on a timeless design. The shoe’s standout feature is a large, knotted rope detail across the front, adding a bold and premium look to the simple, clean upper.
This updated sneaker balances high performance with exceptional comfort. It features a durable Vibram outsole with a rugged tread pattern for excellent grip on any surface. Inside, improved construction and a cushioned Sola Foam insole provide a comfortable and long-lasting feel. The design also includes classic details like a glossy, higher sidewall and foxing tape reminiscent of the original 90s models.
This launch features two different material options. One comes in black and off-white, made with a soft, textured suede. The other combines Daphne blue and white using a durable, heavyweight canvas. Both styles keep the classic elastic sides and padded collars, making them comfortable and easy to slip on and off.
