I recently discovered an intriguing new game called Vanished Puzzle Quest. Developed by Unity Productions Foundation, this puzzle adventure blends exploration with history from the Islamic Golden Age. It’s now available on Android, iOS, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Vanished Puzzle Quest combines 2D and 3D puzzles with item crafting and clue solving
The game has a compelling setup: you find yourself in a world shrouded in mysterious fog, where everyone has lost their memories. As you explore various locations and solve puzzles based on actual historical tools and concepts, you’ll try to piece together what happened.
The game focuses on exploring the world from a first-person perspective. You’ll spend your time walking around, examining objects, and gradually piecing together the story. It’s a pretty immersive experience, but I think it would have been even better with voice acting, which wasn’t included in the gameplay I saw.
The game heavily features puzzles. You’ll progress by combining objects, deciphering codes, and utilizing various artifacts. These puzzles aren’t isolated challenges – they’re integrated directly into the game’s environments, appearing in both 2D and 3D.
I really like that this puzzle game has a hint system – it’s a lifesaver when I get stuck, and I appreciate not having to deal with puzzles that are too hard. Plus, it’s cool how you find map fragments as you play, and they help you explore awesome places like Baghdad, Damascus, and Cairo. It really adds to the adventure!
This game is completely free of ads and in-app purchases, offering a smooth and uninterrupted experience. If you enjoy the story and gameplay, you can download Vanished Puzzle Quest for both Android and iOS devices from the Google Play Store and App Store.
