VALORANT celebrates Lunar New Year 2026 with the Solarstride bundle

VALORANT is ringing in the Lunar New Year 2026 with the new Solarstride bundle, designed for players who want to show off their skills and energy.

2026’s Lunar New Year is the Year of the Horse, and VALORANT is joining the festivities with a new bundle! Called Solarstride, it features three special weapons inspired by powerful horses and impressive gameplay.

Solarstride bundle

The new Solarstride collection in the game is designed to embody strength and forward movement, celebrating the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Horse. To mark the holiday in East and Southeast Asia, Riot Games has introduced this special bundle, which includes three unique weapon skins.

  • Vandal
  • Guardian
  • Melee

These items are available in four colors: white, purple, blue, and pink. You can see them in action, along with all the color options, in the teaser video released by the official VALORANT X page.

Bundle price and release date

The price of the bundle hasn’t been announced yet. While some rumors suggest it might cost around 5,000 VP, this isn’t confirmed, so don’t rely on that price just yet.

Riot Games says the new bundle will be available “in your shop soon.” Because the Reaver bundle is currently the only one for sale, we expect the Solarstride bundle to arrive later this week. We’ll let you know as soon as we have a confirmed release date.

Lunar New Year 2026

Okay, so Lunar New Year kicks off on February 17th, 2026, and VALORANT is dropping a free event pass! They’re giving us a bunch of cool stuff – player cards, RP, titles, and sprays. They haven’t said exactly when the pass will be available, but I’m guessing it’ll probably launch with the next big update. I’m definitely hyped to grind it out!

To ring in the New Year, Riot Games dropped a new Chinese rap song featuring professional League of Legends players Zheng “ZmjjKK” Yongkang and Du “HangHang” Yu Hang. The song also includes appearances from popular personalities like CongmingYangYang, JioJio, and the rapper D‑SHINE.
