Unlock the Secrets: Where to Farm Fucium Ore in Monster Hunter Wilds!
Finishing the main storyline in Monster Hunter Worlds unlocks the high-level zones of the game, known as High Rank areas. Although the maps stay the same, the resources you gather and the creatures you battle will now yield rarer items, enabling you to create superior equipment.
Instead of relying solely on special monster parts for weapon upgrades, you can also follow simpler methods to create potent weapons by gathering common ores scattered across the globe. Here are some locations where you might discover a crucial High Rank ore:
1. Mine X, known for its rich veins of ores.
2. Excavation Site Y, which often yields valuable minerals.
3. Digging in the ruins of Zone Z can also uncover some useful ores.
Where To Get Fucium In Monster Hunter Wilds
In the elevated area of the Ruins of Wyveria, called the High Rank region, is where you’ll discover Fucium. To access this location, it’s essential to complete the main game first and then advance your Hunter Rank to 20. Upon fulfilling the post-game mission that leads you back to Wyveria, you’ll gain permission to revisit the region and mine for Fucium at any Mining Outcrop you come across. These outcrops may yield:
Mining Outcrops generally contain three or four items that can be collected, and despite their scarcity, it appears there’s no limit to the amount of Fucium Ore that can be mined. Your Palico can assist in gathering one item from an outcrop, but be sure to check the area after them as they may not gather everything completely.
Advancing into higher tiers or the endgame means you’ll no longer come across lower-tier resources naturally. So, if you find yourself requiring basic materials later on, it’s necessary for you to take on low-rank quests to obtain them.
Every Mining Outcrop In Ruins Of Wyveria In Monster Hunter Wilds
I regret to inform you that mining outcrops are scarce across Wyveria. Here are the locations of all known ones, so you can gather enough from them.
Unfortunately, mining outcrops in Wyveria are limited in number. I’ve marked their locations for your convenience, to help you collect as many as you require.
- In Area 1, there’s one just south of Base Camp and another west of base camp along the northern wall.
- There’s one in the northern section of Area 15.
- Two in Area 8 along the western wall leading to Area 9.
- Three in Area 5, all in the southwestern section of the wide open area.
In simpler terms, Wyveria is composed of multiple layers which can make navigation tricky. Locate the outcrops marked on your map while you’re riding your Seikret. By setting a waypoint on the Outcrop, your Seikret will autonomously travel to that spot without requiring you to follow the luminescent insects (scoutflies).
