In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Henry’s journey continues directly from Speak of the Devil, where he seeks the Dry Devil. This quest will lead players further into the Kuttenberg region to interact with more of Zizka’s allies, among them John of Liechtenstein.

In “KCD2”, this mission will lead players directly into the city of Kuttenberg itself, and unlike previous tasks, the mission titled “Into the Underworld” can be rather perplexing. Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you navigate through it and complete the quest.

Starting Into the Underworld in KCD2

As soon as you save the Dry Devil during Speak of the Devil, the quest will initiate automatically. Later, when you go back to the Devil’s Den, Zizka will instruct you to visit Katherine. You can find her working at a tavern located in Kuttenberg city. Head towards the marked location and have a chat with her. She’ll provide all the necessary details for your quest.

Based on what Katherine says, it appears that an individual named Goatskin could potentially identify the location of Liechtenstein. However, locating this person may prove challenging.

Where to Find Goatskin in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

In this section of the journey, things become more challenging. Prior to moving forward, it would be beneficial for you to enhance your dialogue skills in ‘KCD2’. From now on, there will be plenty of conversations, and to steer clear of complications, you’ll want to make your arguments as compelling as possible.

The Long Method

Katherine instructs you to make your way to a tavern called “Hole in the Wall,” situated on the city’s southeastern side. Upon arrival, the bouncer will expect you to prove yourself to a man named Chenyek. Once inside, find Chenyek seated at one of the tables. You have two options: either confront him aggressively (Intimidate), or offer him 200 Groschen. If you don’t, he may challenge you to fight Goliath in the back instead.

Following his victory, Chenyek will share with you that Goatskin has ceased visiting the tavern and was allegedly attacked by some rough individuals. If you’re eager to locate him swiftly, approach Madam Beata at the Public Bathhouse. Inquire about Goatskin from her, and she’ll disclose that he’s known for pilfering wealthier Germans. Madam Beata will also inform you of a certain man named Udo, who can be found at the City Bathhouse in the evening hours.

From here, it’s important that you manage to convince Udo to leave early. Once he does, keep a close eye on him. You should encounter Goatskin later, attempting to rob the inebriated German.

The Short Method

If you prefer not to play cards with Udo, you can proceed directly to a location marked on your map following your conversation with Chenyek. This spot is the backyard of the tailor’s shop. Look for a worn-out fence and jump over it. Enter the barn, then make your way upstairs. Traverse the barn and exit back outside. Jump over the wagon and pass through the doorway to locate Goatskin. Remember to carry some extra Groschen as you might need them if Goatskin refuses to talk.

Meeting Samuel and How to Infiltrate the Antisemites’ Meeting

In the Jewish Quarter of Kuttenberg, you’ll meet a man named Samuel. Use the quest marker to find him, then have a chat with him. Before he can assist you, he’ll task you with infiltrating a group of individuals with anti-Semitic views. Carry out his instructions, and a scene will unfold once you reach the location after 9 PM.

In a surprise attack, you’ll find yourself facing off against two adversaries. Overpower them in combat, and following your victory, a new scene will unfold. Samuel intervenes, preventing you from killing them, instead leading you towards Liechtenstein to wrap up this mission.
