Seoul-based fashion store TUNE and Nike are collaborating on a new version of the classic Air Force 1. Called the TUNE x Nike Air Force 1 CVS “Wardrobe Unlocked,” this shoe updates the 1990s design with innovative materials.
This shoe replaces leather with a durable canvas material throughout the upper. It features a single, deep olive green color, creating a practical, military-style look. A thick wax coating is applied to the entire canvas for added protection and a unique finish.
These shoes are made to change with wear. Instead of staying looking new, the waxed canvas upper is designed to break in, fade, and develop a unique look over time. To encourage this natural aging process, each pair comes with a special sandpaper card. This lets you gently rub away the wax coating, creating a custom, worn-in finish, so every pair will develop its own individual character.
