Paul Anderson, known for his role in Peaky Blinders, surprised fans with a striking new appearance at Comic Con in Paris.
The 48-year-old actor wasn’t able to return as Arthur Shelby Jr. in the recent Netflix film, ‘Immortal Man,’ while also dealing with personal difficulties.
Everything changed for Anderson on December 26th, 2023, when he was found with crack cocaine and amphetamines in a pub restroom. Customers reported smelling drug fumes coming from the area.
People are growing worried about his health after a very difficult year, and a friend shared that it’s been painful to see him struggling.
He looked almost like a different person at Paris Comic Con on Saturday, sporting a bold new bleached blonde hairstyle.
I was really surprised to see Anderson on stage! He was wearing cropped jeans, and it was clear he had several cuts on his legs. It definitely caught everyone’s attention.
With acting roles becoming scarce and being left out of the upcoming Peaky Blinders film, Anderson is now earning income through personalized video messages on Cameo – costing around £150 each – and by making paid appearances at various events.
He was photographed last year with a high-end electric BMW motorcycle at the company’s main showroom on Park Lane.
However, a few weeks later, he was found driving an uninsured vehicle in north London, close to his home in Hampstead.
He was found guilty on March 6, 2025, at Bexley Magistrates Court. Since he didn’t show up for the hearing, his sentencing has been scheduled for a future date.
The Daily Mail reported that he was accused of missing a required drug rehabilitation meeting with a social worker. This followed a positive drug test last year, where he was allegedly found with crack cocaine in a pub bathroom.
According to the Daily Mail, after pleading guilty to possessing crack cocaine and amphetamines in January 2024, he reportedly missed a required meeting with a social worker. This meeting was meant to assess whether he was struggling with drug addiction.
According to court records, a drug test in January 2024 revealed the presence of cocaine and opiates in his system.
A court summons from January 2025 states that you didn’t show up for a required assessment to determine if you were dependent on, or likely to misuse, a Class A drug.
A warrant for the celebrity’s arrest was initially issued by Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court. However, it was cancelled after a few weeks when they couldn’t locate them.
I can’t believe it! Apparently, Paul Anderson has left his amazing house near Hampstead Heath – the one worth over a million pounds! And get this, the authorities still haven’t figured out where he’s gone! I’ve been following this so closely through the court papers, it’s just… unbelievable. Where is he?!
Scotland Yard has confirmed that inquiries are ongoing. No arrest has been made.
Daily Mail attempted to contact Anderson.
