Troubled Married At First Sight star Olivia Frazer wipes her entire Instagram page and reveals the sad reason she had to do it – as her season airs in The Netherlands
As an obsessed fan of Olivia Frazer, I can’t help but be in awe of her strength and resilience in the face of negativity and hateful comments. It takes a lot of courage to delete years of social media content, especially when it includes racy snaps, holiday pictures, and precious memories. But Olivia had her reasons, and I completely understand her decision.
On Saturday, Olivia Frazer, a past controversial participant in Married at First Sight, erased the contents of her social media platforms by removing old posts and pictures that had been there for years.
Reality TV personality, aged 30, took to Instagram to disclose the surprising motives for erasing old social media posts.
As an obsessed fan looking at her photo, I couldn’t help but feel disappointed as I saw her expression of frustration. She didn’t mince words when she wrote, “I know it may seem like your Instagram is acting up, but trust me, I’ve taken matters into my own hands. I’ve archived every last picture of mine that was there.”
After facing continuous negative comments from trolls on her page, Olivia decided to delete years worth of racy snaps, holiday photos, and more, effectively limiting the means for such individuals to reach out to her.
‘People can’t comment mean s**t on my photos if there’s no photos’ she explained.
Instead of turning off comments, I chose to keep them on for a more dramatic experience, as is my princess-like nature.
Olivia shared that the Dutch version of Married At First Sight, featuring her season, has started broadcasting in The Netherlands. This led to an influx of critical comments about her portrayal as the “villain” on the show.
Kindly desist from harassing me and my loved ones in Dutch. I will no longer bring up the topic once the negativity towards it subsides.
She responded firmly to EndemolShine Australia, the MAFS AU production company: “I’ll drop the issue when I receive a fair recompense for the harm caused.”
In November last year, during a Q&A session with her followers, she strongly criticized the show when someone asked if she planned to reinstate the MAFS pictures she had removed from her social media.
Olivia did not mince words as she issued a blunt response.
She replied, “I doubt it. I don’t like the experience overall, yet I’m thankful for the friends I gained and the opportunities it brought me. However, I’m not particularly proud of it.”
“I prefer not to have any connection with that. As soon as I regained access to my account, I took the step of deleting Channel Nine and EndemolShine Australia.”
In their own straightforward way, Olivia has consistently shared her honest opinions about her time on reality TV and has publicly voiced her criticisms of the show before.
She shared in August that her relationship with Jackson Lonie would have continued if not for the immense success of Married at First Sight.
A once-aspiring teacher discovered romance with a 31-year-old ex-plumber on a dating program. However, their relationship didn’t last long and they parted ways soon after the show was broadcasted.
