Top Eleven has kicked off its new Superstar World Gallery event just in time for the FIFA World Cup! This collection event features players from 20 different countries. A new Gallery Card Trading system is also available, letting you swap duplicate cards with your friends.
Top Eleven allows trading only between friends on the same Gallery Level
The Superstar World Gallery lets you collect cards representing players from 20 different countries. Each country has 20 featured players. You can earn Gallery Cards by playing matches and opening Packs, and completing sets of cards will unlock rewards during the event.
The biggest new addition is Gallery Card Trading, which allows you to swap duplicate cards with your friends in the game. This feature is open to all managers who have unlocked the Gallery, but you can only trade with players at the same Gallery Level as you.
You can’t trade with players who aren’t at the same Prestige level as you. And if a trade offer vanishes, it doesn’t always mean the time ran out. It could have been rejected by the other player, or the trade might have already gone through.
Okay, so there’s a limit to how much trading I can do each week in the Gallery. I get seven trades per week, and that resets whenever the weekly Gallery stuff does. What’s a bit annoying is that if I don’t use all seven, they just disappear – no carrying them over to the next week, unfortunately!
As a player, I’ve learned that trading works pretty simply. You can only trade one card to get one in return – it’s a straight swap. Also, you can only trade duplicates, and those duplicates have to be between rarities 1 and 5. Sadly, you can’t trade any of the really rare, level 6 or 7 cards at all!
If you already have a card, you can’t get another one, and you can’t send one to a manager who already possesses it. Also, trade offers in Top Eleven will expire after 12 hours if both players haven’t agreed to the trade.
Top Eleven now offers a way to build your collections more reliably, instead of just hoping for good results from packs. If you often play with friends, this is a really useful feature you’ll want to check out.
