- Miniclip leads downloads again with massive growth, crossing 100 million installs globally.
- Tencent dominates revenue charts again despite slight drop with $459.5 million earnings.
March 2026 saw fierce competition among top mobile game companies. The leaderboard experienced some changes, particularly among those in the middle ranks. Here’s a detailed look at how the leading publishers performed that month.
Top Mobile Game Publishers by Downloads for March 2026
Miniclip remained the most downloaded game publisher in March with 104.3 million downloads, an increase from February. Azur Games stayed in second place with 92.5 million downloads, maintaining a similar result to the previous month.
This month saw a shake-up in the rankings, with Voodoo jumping to third place with 82 million downloads. This moved them ahead of BabyBus, which fell to sixth with 58.9 million installs after previously being a top three app.
SayGames remained in fourth place with 68.2 million downloads, and Outfit7 completed the top five with 59.3 million installs. Outfit7’s slight increase in ranking was due to My Talking Tom 2 being 14th in the monthly game rankings. Supercent held seventh place with 44.9 million downloads.
Learnings quickly rose to become a top player, reaching eighth place with 42.2 million installs. CrazyLabs followed closely in ninth with 41.1 million downloads. Rounding out the top ten was Supersonic Studios, with 36.6 million installs – a slight decrease from last month.
IvyMobile jumped to 11th place with 35.3 million downloads, just outside the top ten. Tencent Games fell to 12th with 33.3 million installs. 1SOFT came in 13th, and Game District LLC joined the rankings at 14th, as a new entry this month. Hungry Studio completed the top fifteen.
Top Mobile Game Publishers by Revenue for March 2026
As a big fan, I was following Tencent Games’ performance closely, and even though they had a small dip in March, they still brought in an amazing $459.5 million! It’s great to see they’re still way ahead of everyone else in the industry, despite the slight decrease from the previous month.
Century Games held onto second place with $226 million in revenue, a significant increase from last month. Dream Games rose to third place with $140.6 million, while Playrix moved up to fourth with $131.4 million.
Microfun Limited ranked fifth with $127.7 million in revenue. Funfly, despite a good February, moved down to sixth place with $125 million, but still earned a top spot. King rose to seventh with $111.5 million, surpassing Scopely, which fell to eighth with $108.3 million.
NetEase Games dropped to ninth place with $102.2 million in revenue, but remained in the top ten. Roblox Corporation completed the top ten list with $95 million, continuing its steady performance in both downloads and earnings.
Beyond the top ten, Moon Active ranked 11th, followed by Supercell at 12th and Cognosphere (HoYoverse) in 13th. KONAMI joined the rankings at 14th this month, likely due to the increasing revenue of eFootball, and Bandai Namco Entertainment rounded out the top 15.
