Tom Hardy’s “intoxicating” Venom sequel is now available to stream on Prime Video

The 2021 movie Venom: Let There Be Carnage, directed by Andy Serkis and continuing the story from the 2018 film Venom, is now available to stream on Prime Video in the UK. Tom Hardy returns as both Eddie Brock and the symbiote, Venom, in this sequel.

Tom Hardy returns as Eddie Brock/Venom, this time battling Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson), a serial killer who has bonded with a new, dangerous symbiote called Carnage. The film also stars Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Stephen Graham, and Reid Scott.

Kelly Marcel, who co-wrote the screenplay for Venom, wrote Let There Be Carnage from a story she developed with Tom Hardy. This sequel generally received more positive reviews than the first Venom movie.

After Venom: Let There Be Carnage, a third Venom movie, Venom: The Last Dance, came out in October 2024.

Directed by Kelly Marcel, the new film moves the story forward without the character of Anne Weying, previously played by Williams. It introduces several new cast members, including Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rhys Ifans, and Alanna Ubach, to the Venom universe.

Graham and Peggy Lu reprise their roles as Patrick Mulligan and Mrs. Chen. Andy Serkis, the director of Let There Be Carnage, will play the supervillain Knull.
