A highly acclaimed spy thriller series has returned, and fans are saying it’s even stronger than before. Just before its story continues in a new movie, the show is quickly becoming a hit with online viewers.
Despite finishing its run almost three years ago, the show Jack Ryan, starring John Krasinski, is currently gaining popularity on Prime Video. As of May 14th, it reached the No. 8 spot among the most-streamed shows in the U.S., according to FlixPatrol. This puts it ahead of popular series like Fallout and The Summer I Turned Pretty.
Jack Ryan Is Continuing With a New Movie
The popularity of the Jack Ryan series on streaming couldn’t have come at a better moment. Even though the show finished its fourth season in 2023, John Krasinski will return as Jack Ryan in a new movie. The film will be available worldwide on Amazon Prime Video starting May 20th. This will be the first time Krasinski’s version of the character appears in a full-length movie, connecting his performance to those of previous actors who’ve played Jack Ryan, like Chris Pine, Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck, and Alec Baldwin.
Ghost War centers around a mysterious adversary who appears to know the CIA’s strategies inside and out. As Jack Ryan and his team try to uncover who this enemy is, their relationships are strained, and everyone’s allegiance is questioned, with global consequences at stake. The film stars John Krasinski, alongside Sienna Miller, Wendell Pierce, Michael Kelly, and McKenna Bridger.
