If you enjoy shows like The Pitt, Chicago Fire, and 9-1-1, you’ll likely be hooked by Channel 4’s new drama, Under Fire. The series follows a team of firefighters dealing with the pressures of their jobs, as well as challenges created by new management. It’s being described as a thrilling watch.
When Lieutenant Patrick gets promoted, it throws his close-knit team off balance – they’re used to his leadership and worry about how they’ll handle things under someone new. Will they be able to succeed despite the change?
Channel 4 is now showing the first two seasons of the Belgian drama, each with ten episodes, and they’re gaining popularity. You can also find season one on Netflix UK, where viewers describe it as a moving and emotional series.

In a 2022 review, Decider praised the drama, saying its exciting and visually impressive action scenes make it a show worth watching all at once.
The cast includes Louis Talpe (Kings and Prophets), Lien De Graeve, Ann Tuts, and Aimé Claeys.
I’ve been really into the new dramas popping up on streaming lately, and I just heard about Under Fire. It’s similar to The Copenhagen Test, which just dropped all eight episodes on Peacock earlier this month – I’m planning to check that one out too! Under Fire stars Melissa Barrera and Simu Liu, and was created by Thomas Brandon. Sounds like a good lineup!
