Bridgerton spoilers follow.
Even though Bridgerton just came back to Netflix, fans are already excited about what’s next for Benedict and Sophie. Now that their romance is starting to grow, we have a sneak peek at the second half of season four.
The historical romance series continued last week (January 29th) with a new episode focusing on Benedict and Sophie, played by Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha, as they grapple with their growing romantic feelings.
What to Read Next
The series, adapted from Julia Quinn’s 2001 novel An Offer from a Gentleman, will be released in two parts. After the first four episodes, Netflix has now given us a sneak peek at what’s coming next.
Okay, so they dropped this short, like 30-second clip, and you can feel the chemistry between Benedict and Sophie – things are definitely heating up between them! But honestly, scrolling through the comments on Instagram, everyone was asking the same thing…

One fan commented, surprised to learn she became his mistress, pointing out it mirrored her mother’s situation. Another fan expressed confusion, recalling she had previously stated she didn’t want to be involved with him in that way.
Many viewers expressed frustration with the month-long gap between releases, with one person explaining, “Why make us wait a whole month? It’s especially hard for those of us struggling with seasonal depression.”
Although Benedict and Sophie’s love story is the central focus, the period romance drama also features several other compelling plots, including growing tension in the friendship between Queen Charlotte and Lady Danbury.

Recent events caused some viewers to wonder if Adjoa Andoh would be leaving her part as Lady Danbury, but the show’s creator, Jess Brownell, confirmed that the character will continue to appear in the series.
Brownwell confirmed to Deadline that Adjoa will continue to be a key character in season five. The storyline isn’t about her leaving, but rather about examining a friendship where one person has more influence than the other.
Bridgerton Season 4 Volume 2 streams on Netflix from 26 February.
