As a fellow fan of Star Wars Rebels and the Grand Inquisitor, I am absolutely blown away by 3-PiCO Illustration’s Pumpkinquisitor! Their creative talent and dedication to their craft never cease to impress me. Not only are they an amazing illustrator, but they also put their knitting and crocheting skills to the test in creating this incredible piece of art.

This season is filled with a chilling atmosphere that encourages fans to showcase their creativity! One delightful activity during this time is transforming pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns into our beloved characters. Yet, this intricately carved Grand Inquisitor pumpkin elevates the Halloween fun to an impressive new height.

3-PiCO, alias @Quizzy_sin_bin on Twitter, has been a dedicated admirer of the Grand Inquisitor from Star Wars Rebels for quite some time. Being a fellow enthusiast of what I fondly refer to as “Grande Boyfriend,” I’ve been keeping tabs on their creative endeavors for years before our friendship blossomed. Apart from producing stunning illustrations, 3-PiCO is also a skilled crafter who enjoys knitting and crocheting. This passion led to the birth of the Pumpkinquisitor!

3-PiCO likewise enjoys the Star Wars TTRPG podcast titled “For Light and Dice”. During discussions on their Discord channel, they revealed details about the development of their grouchy pumpkin. With approval from both the artist and show hosts, they disclosed that this entire pumpkin is crafted from repurposed materials!

They said, “Fun fact: he is entirely made of scrap and/or upcycled materials. The black fabric is from a worn-out pair of my spouse’s work pants, the other felt pieces and embroidery thread are leftover from other projects, the beige yarn is both scraps from a blanket and made from recycled plastic, the grey and tan cotton yarn are leftover from a stuffed toy and shirt I made, and the stuffing is from an old worn out pillow.”

Check out this fantastic Halloween craft! It’s even better because it’s made from recycled materials, adding an eco-friendly twist to the spooky fun. If you’d like to see more of 3-PiCO’s creative projects, you can keep up with them on their Linktree, where you’ll find their stunning artwork inspired by the recent 10th anniversary of Star Wars Rebels.
