There is no 911 on ABC tonight, Nov. 28 (When will new episodes air?)

As a hardcore 911 fan with years of binge-watching under my belt, I must say this hiatus is like a firefighter being asked to take a break during a blazing inferno. The midseason finale left me hanging like a loose end of a hose, and now I’m left twiddling my thumbs until March!

On Thursdays, you’d typically expect an entire evening filled with TV shows! But if you had been eagerly anticipating the latest episode of 911 on ABC, I regret to inform you that there isn’t a new one airing tonight.

The midseason break for the series “911” aired on November 21st and it won’t resume until March. While most programming will return to its regular schedule after the American Thanksgiving holiday, this particular show has wrapped up its episodes for the year.

In the mid-series intermission, the plot primarily revolved around Brad Torrence, which could have been more balanced by showing the status of the main characters prior to the three-month break. However, from what was shown, it’s clear that one character, Eddie (Ryan Guzman), may be planning a move towards the 118.

911 is on hiatus but what are we looking forward to for the rest of the season?

Recognizing that Christopher, his son, was maturing and changing in his absence, he ultimately chose to relocate to El Paso. But given Eddie’s habit of making major decisions impulsively, let’s hope he considers discussing this move with Christopher beforehand.

Although he has the option to travel to El Paso to meet with Christopher, what we’re really hoping for is an opportunity to witness a meaningful dialogue between the two. Up until now in season 8, some crucial conversations among the main characters have been conspicuously absent. Here’s hoping that this oversight will be addressed when the series resumes in its second half.

Based on the current development in the series, it seems that Brad’s narrative has reached its end. However, the upcoming episode’s trailer hints at Maddie Han (Jennifer Love Hewitt) possibly being kidnapped, which is alarming given her pregnancy status. This situation could lead to significant consequences for her loved ones, particularly her brother, Evan Buckley (Oliver Stark).

With his sister’s kidnapping, his best friend possibly relocating, and a recent breakup, Buck is undeniably facing some tough times ahead. However, we remain hopeful that he might reconcile with his ex, Tommy (Lou Ferrigno Jr.), as there are still several episodes left this season to explore such possibilities.

Although it’s been announced that there won’t be a fresh installment of 911 for some time, there are still plenty of exciting things to anticipate. Since the break is here, feel free to catch up on past episodes of the series by streaming them on Hulu.

Have a wonderful holiday season and check back in with Precinct TV for more 911 coverage!
